    Calories in salmon

I have searched on the internet and found answers ranging from 400-900 calories in a lb of salmon. Is there a site or app that I can trust to calculate calories accurately? I currently use myfitnesspal.

Ingredients, cooking method, & species make a huge difference: https://www.drbodygadget.com/calories-in-salmon/. Look up the specific type of salmon you’re hoping to eat & factor in how you plan on preparing it for best results, OP.

Salmon nutritional value can vary wildly depending on type and fat content.
All it takes is consistency, effort, proper nutrition, good programming, and TIME.

Don't be upset with the results you didn't get from the work you did not do.

Thanks! According to that site It would be roughly 630 calories. I usually get atlantic salmon, straight from the package into my ninja indoor grill. Although I’m considering adding some oil to increase my fat intake.

Is there a way to tell what fat content it is? I buy the pre packaged atlantic salmon from Walmart.

Well it matters if it's cooked or raw, farmed or wild....

I still use fitday and have hundreds of custom foods added for this reason. Depending on the type of fish or cut of meat ie. skinless vs skin on or boneless vs bone in or farmed fish vs wild or choice vs select or 0"fat trimmed vs 1" etc etc the list goes on.

Using google to find the most accurate representation of the food I'm prepping then adding it to my fitday custom foods is what works best for me.
