Can someone cliff the things that are making them come back for Shadowlands?
Also - is there any benefit to starting now and getting levelled? Is it is all starting from afresh?

I resubbed a few days ago. The level squish was welcome. The ability to level in any expansion is pretty cool, you don’t have to wait for time walking to run previous xpac dungeons. Vastly improved character customization options. I’m working on finishing up bfa content and unlocking maghar orcs rn.

Nope, not this time Blizzard. Playing better games and lol @ charging full box price and asking for $20 a month. It will be the same sh*t all over again with lazy borrowed power mechanics because they've given up balancing. I'll gear up, join my M+ group, raid once a week, be forced to m+ more for more loot chance, get a solid raider IO, hit gear cap within 4 weeks then force myself to log in for weeklys while waiting 4-6 months for new content.
If somehow it's outrageously good and all my friends are going on about it then I would maybe consider but for now I am not going to play it at launch.EoR is powered by unique Nanomolecular Hyperdispersion Technology. Giving him high bioavailability and myocellular saturation.

I've played WoW on and off since 2007 and this is the least excited I've ever been for a new xpac...
With how chit BFA was, especially patch 8.3, the delay in relasing Shadowlands, how terrible pre-patch has been, and a multitude of other reasons, I'm just not pumped for SL like I've been for every other xpac.
I'll still play it at launch, since leveling on day one with friends is always a blast no matter what, but I have a feeling that I'll be unsubbing quicker than I've ever quit before.

I got enough gold for one month sub, so will probably do that then buy the xpac for £30 to check it out for a month and if it's crap like bfa quit for good. None of my irl friends play anymore, my hardcore raiding progress guild(guild that has been raiding together since mop) died at first tier in bfa cause people just kept unsubbing and not showing up and every time we got new people in they would just unsub and never log back in.
I was kinda hyped untill pre patch came out and the minimum effort in it is just indicative of current blizzard imo. Best case scenario is that they have been so hard at work on SL right up until launch that they just threw this pre patch together in a day worst case is they just don't care anymore.
Really it all depends on tomorrow, scotland getting update on corona tomorrow and it looks like we heading for a 4+ week lockdown. If that happens I will get SL and rot.
Anyone else got mad class indecision, I have never had this going into an xpac but I really can't decide what to main seems like it's a common problem right now on the forums.

Yeah basically there's 2 leveling paths now:
1. If you are brand new to the game, your character goes through the first 10 levels in a new leveling area. It's well done, lots of voice acting, teaches you about different aspects of the game. Once you hit level 10, you go through the BFA expansion for levels 10-50. Shadowlands will be 50-60.
2. If you already have a max level character, then new characters can choose to go through the new leveling area OR you can choose any expansion to level from 10-50.
Levels have been reduced throughout the different expansions so they all are about the same level as each other. It's a much better experience than it used to be for new players.

If they didn't change the "style" though it's still kind of a chore. I've ranted for years how leveling is just: reach quest hub --> do 5 kill/fetch quests --> repeat. Fukin AIDS. It actually gives me anxiety when I play it.
They should either have a vanilla format but with more experience and gold rewards, or nix fetch quests and ding players when they complete a zone's main questline.ωσяℓ∂ тяανєℓєя ȼяєω

YEo
I was just gonna look for a thread cuz im back into wow after getting my new pc.
lvld my undead war to max
then a troll shaman which Im bored of
and now unlocked zand troll and got pally to max lvl. Lvling took like 2 days.. lol.
But pally seems to be what im liking right now. Warriors were my fav before but they are just sitting ducks in pvp without a pocket healer..
pallys are versatile with freedom, dispel, heals, steed, bubble, lay on hands, shield.. plus, you can get a nice 2h sword like a warrior anyways so seems like the right move for me.
kind of hyped to be a rotter again.
The scourge event made it so ez to gear my alts in a day or 2 after hitting max lvl. Obviously its not turbonerd raid gear but its decent enough. Shadowlands greens will be better than any current gear anyways so thats a plus for me

I jumped in for the level squish also.
it's so fast to level toons now.
and I have a lot of alts i started just to try different classes.
the only thing that threw me off was running into low level toons in high level dungeons via the dungeon finder.
my only real question is while everything is adjusted, don't low level toons still have a disadvantage due to lack of talents and abilities?
or is that figured in also?
just wondering since I'm leveling a higher toon now but going jump on my lowbies soon.

Going to be playing with my little brother.
Not gonna lie though, everything I see and read about SL looks so...boring. Even the cinematic, and Blizz is known for producing GOAT tier cinematics, was so mediocre that I couldn't believe it was made by Blizz. I'm just not feeling the excitement or energy from anything they put out about this game.
Learning new dungeons and doing fresh content is usually interesting so I'm hoping I get a few weeks of enjoyment out of this game. I'm really not expecting much though. I think my goal is just to make it to the first raid lol.FL IS THE GOAT STATE CREW
