Before any of you folks who get upset at people who don't like to wear a mask come at me, let me say I wear a mask whenever I walk into an establishment but do not wear one when I am walking by myself...
So, with that said yesterday was a beautiful day here in NY so I decided to take a walk, I had my mask in my hand just in case I decided to walk into a store or somewhere to buy something, but it was not on my face anywhere.
I walked by 4 people (2 men a woman and a child in a stroller) and as I walked by them one of the men turned to me and told me and I quote "You better put on your mask" I did not respond to him but just kept walking. He actually came behind me got in front of me and told me "That's my son you just passed without your fcking mask on and its people like you spreading this fcking virus, now put your fcking mask on"
I stared at this guy for what seemed like an hour and for a minute there I wanted to just punch this guy right in his fcking mouth and drop his dumb ass, but I didn't, I put the mask on and just kept on going.
Life is weird for me now..

LOL I feel ya man!
You in NY? Where at?
Honestly its been easy to keep my cool of late and while I would be lying that at times I feel like I am going to snap, its less and less of it..
Exactly, people need to just chill, this guy a year ago would have had me putting my hands on him, we need to respect each other.
You lost me.On the list for Bannukah

Do you feel good about the way you handled it? You did good..
Perhaps way better than I probably would have. I greet everyone with a smile but if someone comes at me swearing they will get a quick Fuk off or go Fuk yourself. Where it went from there is totally up to them.
FWIW I am a pro masker but I don't get in anyone's face over it unless they are inside my space. Have told a couple of people to back up without incident. I am not around many people though hardly any TBH and that suits me quite fine.Air Force Veteran 1976 - 1999

Honestly no, a part of me feels like my life as I know it is slipping away......however I am content and in someway I feel complacent with the "new" me. People around me are better off as well, but sometimes I questioned if I found the new me to appease other folks yet lost myself in doing so....hard to explain I guess..

I would have told the dude to fukk right off.
I wear a mask when required to do so. I'm not gonna wear one while walking around outside.
I would keep my distance from others though.
These goofs just looking for an altercation because someone isn't wearing a mask need to stfu and mind their own business.Insta: flexjs

Here in rural Texas the mask thing seems to be fairly relaxed compared to what I've heard from others.
I wear my mask when required. Most seem to wear their mask as a chin strap.
Although a young co-worker of mine had an eventful time at the grocery store several months ago. He had his mask on while shopping. A lady shopping on the same isle as him stomped up telling him his mask was on upside down and he needed to fix it. He said it's fine but she got even more upset saying she was going to get the manager. He said, so get the manager. She followed him to the next isle telling him I'm getting the the manager. He stopped walking turned around and said "Then go get the manager lady".
He said when he turned around the lady quickly put her hand in her purse making him think she was about to pull a gun or mace...
He walked away and kept shopping.
After checking out, as he stepped out of the store he was greeted by 2 police officers.
They turned to the lady that was standing nearby and asked...is this how he was wearing the mask? She said yes. They told her his mask is fine.
He got in his truck and went home.
Some people are just looney.

Biden kept talking about all of the people who won't be around at the Thanksgiving dinner table. I think Trump missed his opportunity to say that for every one or two who won't be there, 98 or 99 will.
I think the attitude toward corona may be changing as we're knowing more and more people who have (or who had) it and recovered fine. I can think of nearly 10 people that I know that have gotten it and recovered fine. While grocery shopping this weekend, I ran into a nephew. He's a 28 year old UPS pilot who has been out of town for a few days, and in the interim, both parents tested positive and his wife was with them and she now feels somewhat sick. She's been tested but hasn't received the results. They have three kids 3 years old and younger. Now that he's home, he said he has been wearing a mask but that he's SERIOUSLY considering not wearing a mask and just letting "nature" take its course. He's young, he's healthy (reserve military, marathon runner, etc.), and in all likelihood, he'll be fine.Pull-Up PR: https://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=177233951

bodyhard,
The next time you see people paranoid enough to be wearing masks outdoors in uncrowded situations, avoid the situation altogether by giving them a wide berth. It is no measure of health to be well adjusted to a profoundly sick society.
It's easy to not be afraid of tigers when you're sitting in your living room watching a television program about tigers. When you're in the jungle where the tigers are, it's quite a different story.

This times a billion, I have yet to have anyone tell me to put a mask on & if they do I will respond with my typical Fuk Off and we will see where it goes from there. I was just at the rifle range & there were actually people there wearing masks, not many but still goofy as all hell.

What you missing is that those people will go out of thier way (which completely contradicts thier position) and get in a non mask wearers face.
That guy wasn’t thinking about his babies safety when he got in BH face and tried to provoke him, I mean fuk he coulda got Covid from doing that and given it to his own fuking kid.
Supramax, mr smart pants, why couldn’t he the paranoid mofo go the other way, if he was concerned about his kid he would’ve, instead he chose to confront face to face a non masker, get Covid or get in a fight and still get Covid.
This will go right by you as usual.
If you want to avoid Covid leave a non mask wearer alone, there’s not a whole lot of us, and it’ll save you from exposure.

I saw a dude at the car wash yesterday wearing a mask. Literally in a bay by himself with concrete walls on 3 sides of him wearing a mask while washing his car.
And all these Karens that think it's their duty to police everyone else need to STFU.
Saw a pic online last week some dude in his own kitchen with his mask down around his chin and some Karen posts "Wear your mask properly!!!!!" STFU b1tch; he's in his own kitchen.Insta: flexjs
