This is great news for the country and the world. At least some of the damage can be undone.

meh - i'm all about getting to cleaner better energy sources (why not look at nuclear).... we have to get there though... wonder how we manufacture all those solar panels, wind farms, etc... the tax credits for going green are being used as currency to allow things like the dodge demon/hellcat, etc. not sure why they are so focused on blaming our cars when airplanes, ship freighters, semi's, tractors and construction equipment burn much more than our cars.

3 questions:
1) two parter: who the fuk is OP? And are we now going to have to deal with a bunch of bitches coming out of the woodwork now that their guy might win?
2) what good comes out of rejoining the accord?
3) why can't we just practice cleaner and more efficient behaviors without spending what I imagine will be a disproportionate amount of money compared to other countries? See our UN and WHO contributions for examples of these sorts of payments.
I don't expect OP to respond so maybe another resident shill can fill me in?***Mariah Carey is my 10/10 Crew***

Yes, obviously green energy is nowhere close to being able to sustain global populations, and all of it is predicated on fossil fuels for its function anyways.
I mean, the Obama bailouts wasted a mass amount of tax payer dollars on green projects that flopped in the private and public sector.
It's pretty much saying, "Hey developing nations of the world, we are going to hand over all of our economic opportunities to you, since you're really not obligated to follow any rules within this treaty."
Do you really think China is going to handover world hegemony in the name of climate change?
This is a huge opportunity for Wall Street and global investors to make a killing though.

Analogy for environmentalism in America:
Students in class represent countries. Test is given. U.S. student gets a 94%. Average for the rest of the students = 38% with China getting a 3%
Teacher to U.S. student - "WHY CAN'T YOU DO BETTER?!?!" Teacher to rest of students - "Everybody steal U.S. students lunch money"
