Hard to believe that they had some 10-20 candidates and they still ended up with Biden...
A part of me believes that there wasn't really a viable candidate that the Dems could produce.
If the DNC hadn't interfered, a Sanders/Warren ticket could have been probably at least an admirable effort.
Maybe a Yang/Gabbard ticket.

Andrew Cuomo.
He can pass as a moderate. Speaks pretty well. Media has given him all good coverage in spite of known blunders. I still think he will be their candidate in 2024.Everything depends upon execution; having just a vision is no solution.

I like Bernie Sanders as a person. I don't agree with all of his policies, but things I liked:
-Against private prisons
-End Cash Bail
-For Paper Ballots
-Raise taxes on the Ultra Wealthy --- the top 75,000 families.
He wants to establish a federal jobs guarantee and raise taxes on businesses whose CEOs make at least 50 times more than their median workers.
-Against unlimited campaign financing
-Abolition of the Electoral college
-Legalize Marajuana, and scrapping past pot convictions. I don't even smoke weed, but even I realize Marajuana is not bad as idiots claim it to be. I mean, alcohol and cigarettes kill far more people...
-Eliminate tax breaks for off-shoring. In other words, fuk the ultra wealthy again
Neutral:
-Felons Voting
Things I don't like:
-Federal Minimum wage hike to $15 an hour. Not reasonable in every area of the U.S.
-Canceling Student Debt
-Increase the capital gains tax rate
Obviously, nowhere near to all his policies and standings on everything. But he's an honest politician (shocker), and despite the hogwash "herp derp, SoCiaLisM iS bAd", I don't expect every socialist policiy to be implemented. Last I recall, people didn't think Social Security was a bad thing, but alright.

Bernie and it's not even close, Biden is a neoliberal corporate shill at best. If the DNC hadn't completely rigged it against him in 2016 with vicious attacks and suppression tactics, there's a very strong chance we could have had a Bernie presidency because he likely would have maintained the rust belt.
You may not agree with Bernie's policy, which is up for debate, but there is no question that he is an honest man with zero history of corruption.Anti identity politics crew

Bernies is just another filthy communist from NY. Has never worked a day in his life and the hippies in Vermont put him in office.
He is not any more honest than any of the others and may be worse. Go do some reading about all the fancy things he has gotten in the last 10 years. Sure it came from his govmt salary.....
Thanks hard pass.

I had a bet with a friend Cuomo is secretly working for 2024 candidacy.
he let clown blasio run and saw the race was too crowded and hopeless.
Cuomo is also a naturally good orator and not as spineless as most democrat leaders.
he does have skeletons in his closet though but how can republicans replicate a Trump level candidate ever again?F*ck Joe Biden

Yep. That is my thought too. I think he avoided getting into this election, because Trump was/is in my opinion likely to be re-elected. The enthusiasm behind him is incredible and the Dem nominee was likely to lose. Which I think is why Dementia Joe and Kamala were thrown to the wolves. They're sacrificial lambs who can lose and Joe can disappear while the Dems fight in the courts and spend the next 4 years continuing to attack Trump the whole way and delegitimize him.
Then after 8 straight years of endless negative Trump/Republican media coverage, perhaps the country would be more likely to vote for a Democrat (a Democrat would would be running against a Republican candidate who is not very likely to be as hyped up as Trump). They didn't want to waste an actual decent candidate this election cycle.Everything depends upon execution; having just a vision is no solution.
