Crack of dawn, actually pre-dawn 2 mile running action. Cold as %^&*. I decided to time it. 15:52. I started out with a bang, but the cold weather quickly took it's toll. My digits, and other areas started to get the pins/needles. LOL

We have been having a late winter series of snow storms. Seems like they come in waves. I have made it out for a couple of 2 milers, the other day was through about 5 inches of fresh snow. I didn't time, but I'm sure it was in the slow end.

For what seems like to be months on end, I'm having a real tough time consistently hitting the gym in a regimented fashion. Some of it is out of my control, some of it my own fault.

My grandfather once told me "You can't run with the wolves, and soar with the eagles."---meaning that working late into the night doesn't translate well to productive mornings. I guess it's a mindset thing. It can be difficult to turn off.

Sorry for my absence everyone. Just when I thought I might be seeing a little light at the end of the tunnel, it turned out to be an oncoming train. All sorts of unfortunate events, so I really haven't been able to do anything physical. Equipment issues at work, sick pets, to name a few problems.

I'll update and check in when I can. Hopefully with the new week, things will turn around.

Thx G, Actually it felt really good, I felt I could do more as it went up easier than I thought it would. Tried 2 more times to get more 280 failed and 277.5 failed so I finished with my back off sets. The last lift was 65% of the 275 = 179x20 rep pumper was an awesome feel. Today I am debating on Low or mid high incline and then next Sunday I will push for at least 280

week 9 Friday dinner- Ground Buffalo / Pinto bean Chili with cajun Andouille Sausage

Hey John 287.5 fell last week So 290 is the target this week, Wish me luck bro. Dam I miss our chats and back and forth feed back. I just cant handle these simple minded simps on this sight, Outside of you and maybe 3 others None of these SELF ABSORBED HATE filled Simps can handle or understand Strength progression and its Importance. Working with an injured shoulder which I rehabbed without medical influence, just research and patience
Now just started my 2nd deload at 13 weeks into the program we discussed and I put together and I just got a single at 300lbs just shy of 63 yrs old and andI still can't get any dam respect from the life Trolls on social media WTF brother.
