I'm glad you got a little bit of a reprieve on New Years Eve after getting hammered lately.
That was a good workout to ease yourself back into things after having quite a few off days recently.

2 miles in 15 minutes? After 2+ months of no road running? that is pretty good. I am scared to know how bad my outdoor running time is getting right now! And I have noticed most guys who are experienced runners tend to over shoot their estimates of their times lol. So I am guessing you were probably closer to keeping a 7 minute pace for those 2
You would be surprised just how much time I have to waste.

Thanks Brother! I usually time the runs, but I was thinking it probably wouldn't be very pretty.

    01.04.2021

    Training:

    D. Swings 15x15,15
    Squats 105x5, 125x5, 140x10
Bench Press (light form work) 90x5, 105x5, 120x5
    Pull-ups BWx 18,13,12,11,11
    Dips BWx20,20,20,20,20
    Pike Push-up BWx20
    Chin-ups BWx10

Scale was 140.5. I'm probably looking at running full body for a while. I'll be shooting for a 2 mile run on the in between days. Road work in Western PA, in January isn't ideal-- I'd actually rather be out there in the July heat, but I feel like I'm on the cusp of my best conditioning.

Very solid workout. I like how you're easing into Squat, Bench, etc., while still doing a bunch of bodyweight work.

2 miles after a layoff is no joke, but if you did that in 15 minutes I'm hella impressed! I need to get back into running. Even when I was doing it a few times a week, I was happy to get under a 10 minute mile haha
I'm tempted to put on my microspikes and headlamp and go running on the icy sidewalks some morning

Serious reppage in that last session! x18 rep pullups? Cot damn dude!
Entire upper body had to be quivering after all those dips
    PRs: Back Squat- 410x1 / Front Squat- 320x1/ Bench- 325x1 / Deadlift- 505x1

I really don't have a particular goal in mind, just basic cardio health. I never liked running that much, but years ago, when I was training for the academy, I had to pass some tests (300 meter, 1.5 mile) and saw how the running was a catalyst in leaning me out more than I ever have been.

How is work for you? We are getting demolished every night. A Tuesday is now a Friday.

Nice run in winter conditions! Do you wear anything for traction when it's snowy/icy?
Hope the weekend was a great one!

Thanks! I haven't tried anything for traction, but that's probably a good thought. Winters here haven't been too bad for quite a while, but January/February, historically have been the roughest.

Thanks! The crazy pace continues. I imagine we should see some slowing as we get into January, but who knows.

    Training:

    D. Swings 15x15
    Incline Bench 45x12, 95x5, 120x1, 120x6,6,6
    Bench Press 135x6,6
    Dips BW+100x4,4
    C.G. Bench 115x6,6
    Lying Extension 45x6, 50x6+15 presses.

My work schedule is still non-compliant for much free time, so I had the idea that I'm going to focus on very brief sessions, as often as I can, targeting movements (push, pull etc.) Body weight was 142.

    01.11.2021

    Training:

    D. Swings 15x15
    Squats 45x12, 95x5, 140x6,6,6
    SLDL 115x6,6
    Pistols 6,6,6
    D. Shrugs 15x6,20x6
    Trap Bar Shrugs 135x6,6

Body weight was 141.5. Despite being closed today (Monday), I was looking at a long day of searching for supplies, cleaning ovens, inventory, maintenance odds and ends, probably an easy 10+ hours.

My dad helps me with the oven cleaning. He's a tough old guy. He only requests a pizza for his services.

Glad your busy and still surviving. The “non work” days where you are working are always busier then expected.

It's crazy Bro! I was going well into hour 10, and still had some things to check off. Sometimes I guess you just have to call it.

    Training:

    D. Swings 15x15
    OHP 45x10, 65x5, 85x6,6,6
    D. Press 15x6, 20x6,25x6
    Lateral Raises 12'sx6, 15'sx6
    R.D. Raises 12'sx6, 15'sx6
    Feet Elevated Pike Push-ups BWx15

Just a quickie. I had to get to work early, but the weights were calling. This session after warm-ups, might of been 15 minutes. The light OHP felt way harder than they should of.

Thanks Man! I'm dreaming of a future workout where I can do 3 minute rest periods. I have always found, for me regardless of the exercise, this is a sweet spot for me.
