Thanks Bro! I thank God daily that I am blessed to be busy, always trying to find the time. I'm very fortunate. I know some are really struggling in these times. Hope your work is going good! I'm still trying to figure out the trends/patterns. As I mentioned, a day where I think it is going to be off the hook, sometimes falls flat, and then an innocent appearing Tuesday, will kick my %^& all the way home. LOL

I'm really wondering if I'll ever be able to distinguish a business pattern again. Tuesday was pretty crazy, last night started slow, real slow, so I thought, "typical January business, than around 6pm, we got throttled.

I never thought I would be resorted to "splitting" my training between home/work. Holy *&&^%, I used to do full 2-a-days, a morning session, then a late night session. Now, it is a race to fit it in.

Yesterday, went out for a run. Crazy cold and windy! I hate to report, but I quit about a half mile in. I was having trouble breathing against the wind. I restarted a couple times, probably only made it about 1.25 miles total, and walked home.

Kind of pissed at myself for giving up. It won't happen again.

Second verse, same as the first, but I didn't quit this time. Cold as hell, windy, but I was determined to get those @!$% 2 miles in. I sometimes run along a river, and the wind coming off it can really wreak havoc.

A little over the 1.5 mile mark, the test came. Big winds howled at me, but I just threw a smile on my face and toughed it out. Really looking froward to the warmer temps.

I'm probably going to eat up today, and start up a new split tomorrow. I'll check in the logs tomorrow night.

I always feel a slight bit of shame seeing your running tales lol. They remind me that I need to quit using easy excuses t get out of my cardio. I like running but I have never loved it. You have to have a special place in your heart for running to go jogging into the face of a freezing strong wind!

What was your time for that 2 miles? 11 minutes?
You would be surprised just how much time I have to waste.

Thanks Man! I layer up pretty good. Usually 3 long sleeve shirts, hat etc. I'm probably right about 10% BF right now, so the cold is a tough adversary.

It's really a love/hate thing. I loathe it the whole time I'm out there, but the after effect is so valuable. Thanks Bro!

Thanks 400! I didn't time it, but probably around 15min on so.

Thanks Sir Charles! I have a couple weight training sessions I need to update in here, but I can't seem to get the extra time on the computer.

Thanks Charlie! I'm glad I left social media (almost 2 years ago, now.) I was seeming to increasingly dislike it, and probably would of never even used it if it wasn't for my supp rep job, and later the training gig.

Nice work getting those runs in. I have enough trouble getting motivated to run inside, much less outside in the elements. But I can definitely see how the after effects would be worth it. Both the physical feeling, and the mental/emotional fortitude it builds must be really rewarding.

Sometimes we don't get the opportunity to earn something...it just gets handed to us whether we like it or not. Take the time to do what you need to do, and then come back and hit it hard again when you can.

Thanks 4G! These last few weeks have been rough. Sometimes I look at my shoes, and think why the hell should I do this, but then that Darth Vader voice hits, "John! get your ass out there!" There are so many people in this crazy world that would love to have my problems. I'm very fortunate, and would be ashamed of myself to not push forward.
