The brands been around for along time so I wouldn't be too worried about quality. Never tried it before so can't comment on taste. Its pretty cheap so why not pick one up and see if you like it.

I use it. Its cheap and good in my opinion. Contains some BCAAs, only 8 grams of carbs, 3 grams of fats, and 30 grams of protein per serving. The taste is pretty blah but you can always add it into a smoothie or something and add some more flavor.

That protein just doesn't mix. It clumps up in my shaker, probably get better results with a blender. Also, that thing has bad macros and is high in cholesterol.

If i'm going low budget proteins, I like to use six star cause it tastes good, blends good, ain't too high in anything I don't like, high protein per serving, cheap. What else could you ask for really.

I'd be surprised if any company, and there were several, continued amino spiking after the lawsuits. Then again the supplement industry has a messy history so its entirely possible. Could also just not support them out of principal alone for that crap.

The way I see it: if you go for the cheapest brands that haven't been independently tested for AAs there's a high likelihood of spiking.

For that I reason I buy MyProtein and Bulkpowders (Europe). For both brands I've seen good independent AA tests.

Its a shame there isn't more regulations in place to ensure every brand goes through the same process of independent testing before making label claims. One day maybe but not holding my breath.
