Nope. Stars just aren't aligning like they did in 2016. That was a "destiny" moment, if there ever were one.
Everything has to come together perfectly on the day for Trump to squeeze out an electoral college win this time around, to the point that victory is possible but improbable.
Hopefully the COVID spikes dissuade a large number of Democrats from voting in person, specifically on the day.“The life of man is solitary, poor, nasty, brutish, and short.” – Thomas Hobbes, 1588 – 1679

Yes, but not even confident in 2020.
In 2016 I had no expectation for Trump to win. I actually made plans to do things that day and didn’t even vote but when I started reading the updates and checking betting sites throughout the evening it became pretty clear he had a legit shot. Told my wife we had to leave what we were doing and I rushed to the voting site and placed my vote.
I have some confidence right now that there are a ton of silent Trump fans and a ton of silent people that just hate the radical left, but I’m mentally prepared for a Biden presidency.Horny.

How?
Biden is a far stronger candidate than Hillary, simply through the quality of being completely anaemic. He's boring. Uninspiring. Run-of-the-mill. Put him on a stage, or hide him in a bunker, and the needle hardly moves. Hence, his favourability among the public is higher than Clinton could have ever dreamt of. So while most people might be voting against Trump, they're nowhere near as dissuaded by Biden as they were Clinton, either. People might grit their teeth for a Biden vote a little, but they're far less likely to not vote at all... And that's very dangerous for Trump.
I don't doubt that he's 5-10 points up on a national level tbh.
I get the feeling that this time around, Republicans are the ones living in a bubble/echo chamber.“The life of man is solitary, poor, nasty, brutish, and short.” – Thomas Hobbes, 1588 – 1679

Have you noticed that biden gets no press. All they talk about is trump because with biden...what is there to talk about? He's not even campaigning anymore.
Ever heard the saying there's no such thing as bad press?
That's why Hillary was stronger. For all her faults, she could get in front of a camera and present herself as something other than a complete disaster.Official misc attaché to the Kremlin

The optics didn't work like that, though. She might have presented herself as politically competent, but there was something about her that was innately irritating and distasteful, even to Democrats and women. She just wasn't likeable. You can't stomach too much of her. Her press coverage stopped just enough Democrats from showing up, and drove enough independents toward Trump. Her own party basically had to force her to the sidelines post-election because she really was just that toxic.
Biden isn't driving people away or keeping people home, man.
This election won't be dissimilar to 2016 insofar as it'll be all about turnout again. Clinton helped keep the turnout lower than it could've been simply by being a distasteful kunt. Biden doesn't provide that.
However, given COVID spikes and riots, it is still possible that just enough people from certain demographics (largely Democrats, some leftward independents) stay home on Nov. 3 to provide Trump a narrow electoral victory.“The life of man is solitary, poor, nasty, brutish, and short.” – Thomas Hobbes, 1588 – 1679

Biden is a very weak candidate (not sure if weaker than Hillary. Hillary was a double edged sword, tons of hype behind her being a woman, but tons of people hated her too). Biden-Harris is one of the weakest tickets I can remember.
But the thing is, Biden simply does not matter. The Democratic nominee does not matter. The election is all about Trump. No one cares about Biden. I could be on the ticket as the Democratic nominee and I'd probably win close to 200 electoral votes. Trump has succeeded in making this election 100% a referendum on himself, unfortunately.
Biden ain't turning anyone out. But Trump has been turning Democrats out to the polls in record numbers since he's been president. His behavior is a huge, huge problem and he never learned how to fix it.*Sit there and don't know what to do when people sing happy birthday to me crew*

The election isn't purely a referendum on Trump, that's an oversimplification and a Democrat talking point. And the reason they use it as a talking point, is precisely because Biden is so anaemic that the only personality in the room is Trump. And that's a benefit to Biden. In a normal year you might call Biden "weak", but his weakness here is a strength.
Put Clinton in this race and there is no question - Trump wins due to the Clinton effect on turnout.
I think of the political arena not indifferent to sports. It's all about matchups.“The life of man is solitary, poor, nasty, brutish, and short.” – Thomas Hobbes, 1588 – 1679

I didn't even vote for Trump in 2016...
Sure as fuk did this weekend. Unless the dmeocrats cheat (like they always do) at MASSIVE LEVELS, Trump has the backing of patriotic america.MАGА 2024. I rep pаtriots, and neg anti-american phægots. I am concerned the voter fraud will be more intense this time. they are already preparing everyone with the "we wont know who wins on election night" which is complete BS. We knew 4 years ago on election night who won. We have more technology now than ever before and theyre telling everyone they wont know. Oh but muh mail in ballots, guess what, they have always had mail in voting, they act like it was indroduced this year.
I believe that dems and hillary were so arrogant with places like wisconsin and michigan that not only did they not bother campaigning there, but they didnt even bother to rig any votes there because they were so overconfident.
I dont think they will make that mistake again. But I also think there is even LESS excitement for biden, hes boring as fuk nobody likes him, hillary they atleast duped people into that feminst crap with she would be the first woman president.
Trump wins without any cheating, no question about it. Bidens camp is really weird right now, they either gave up or know the fix is in. Theyre not even fuking trying right now. Obama also was weary of attaching his name to Biden this whole year, he knew all about the Hunter chinese prostitutes and crack pipe videos.

More confident.
A lot of factors that I think give him a definite lead this time around.
Incumbent advantage
2016 he wasn’t well liked by a portion of the GOP voters, now he seems to have the full conservative vote
In 2016 Hilary had that enthusiasm behind her of “first woman president”, joe Biden has no such thing
Covid issue may favour Biden, but the riot/protest issue definitely favours trump
All and all, I’m a lot more confident in saying trump will win this time around

Honestly same, back in 2016 I didn't know much about politics. I live in IL and if anything I would have voted Hillary, but decided not to vote at all cause I didn't feel I knew enough.
I thought Hillary would easily my state (she did) and would easily win the election. I got half of that right...
But the answer to the problems right now? TRUMP 2020.

I didn't think he could win in 2016 until election night when that first blue wall state flipped. So I guess I'm more confident now, but I still think he's the underdog. Before Covid, I was super confident he'd get re-elected. The man was/is a damned good president. Covid was a no-win situation for him. No matter what he did, the establishments is all in against him and they would use it to try and tear him down.

If I knew there was going to be 0 voter fraud, I would bet all my life savings on Trump winning. However, there will likely be a massive co-ordinated deep state + China vote fraud effort this time, it will be much more blatant than 2016 because they won't make the same mistakes twice. So I'm less confident this time unfortuantely.
