Bodybuilders are actually weaker than their counterparts. Goal of bodybuilding is size and proportion. Type 2b is the most dense muscle and bodybuilders train that into type 2a with all the reps and sets, making more oxidative (larger) muscle than really any other group of people. Strength is more from 2b and Schoolboy has a lot of that.

Ultimately what matters in the real world is that Larry Wheels will attract more female attention than a strong arms young man.

Yeah Schoolboy took care of business. Apparently on Larry's channel it shows that afterwards Schoolboy was pulling some of Larry's friends with his right arm. One of Larry's friends pinned him twice, so Larry decided to have a go and was able to pin him too with his right arm. I'm not sure which is Schoolboy's dominant arm, but he definitely wasn't fresh and looked like he was injured. It was interesting to see at least, especially considering Larry's friend that pinned him has only been arm wrestling for a couple months, even less than Larry.

Armwrestling is more technique than strength. Especially competitive armwrestling, with those grips onf the side and people standing freely.
With the wrong technique you have to basically curl your oponents arm, while with the right technique you are doing cheat rows with it.
You know Larry Wheels is a World Record Holding powerlifter and competes in strongman as well?Last edited by I3igAl; 10-29-2020 at 09:43 AM.

Schoolboy out there looking like a main character's rival from any anime lol. No facial expression, no grunting or talking, just showing up and handling business
"The flowers bloom, then wither... The stars shine and one day become extinct. This earth, the sun, the galaxies and even the big universe, someday will be destroyed. Compared with that, the human life is only a blink, just a little time. In that short time - people are born, laugh, cry, fight, are injured, feel joy, sadness, hate someone, love someone. All in just a moment. And then, are embraced by the eternal sleep called death."

Size wise, he should flip Schoolboy over. But DHT makes people look ****ty aesthetic wise, but causes insane strength. That's why a lot of the strongest guys are older, fat, and or balding. Look at schoolboy, looks like **** with his shirt off. If Larry (continues?) to train for strength over size, he'll lose size.
I found a better answer to your question
(17β-hydroxy-5α-androstan-3-one, DHT) increased the isometric force (P0 = 100%) of the fast twitch muscle fibers in the EDL from both male and female mice by ~30%.
Our hypothesis is that DHT activates the epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR), either directly or indirectly, and this leads to an increase in the phosphorylation of ERK1/2. ... and this increases force production in fast twitch fibres but decreases it in slow twitch fibres.
testosterone treatment did not induce similar changes in myosin light chain content like DHT. (...) the changes, you are seeing in figure 2 are not mediated via the androgen receptor
dihydrotestosterone, the "big brother" of the "big T" shares testosterones anti-differential effect on pre-adipocytes (Singh. 2003). Unfortunately, though, DHT does not prevent their proliferation (i.e. the generation of new pre-adipocytes; cf. Gupta. 2008). Instead, gene assays suggest that it stimulates all aspects of adipocyte metabolism, i.e. the beneficial ones like glycolosis (helps blood sugar management) and lipolysis (helps getting the fat out of the adipose tissue) and not (generally) beneficial ones as the production of fatty acids and triacylglyceroles, cell proliferation and differentiationLast edited by rootcon; 11-01-2020 at 10:33 AM.
