Inb4 538 screeching meme and "LOL POLLS IN 2020".
Assuming the polls and forecasts turn out to be correct, 538 is showing atm:
- 89% for a Democrat President.
- 98% chance of a Democratic House.
- 76% chance of a Democratic Senate.
That's ~66% chance of a triple lock for Democrats, if that happens then what exactly would the Republican game plan be to try and turn things around in 2024?
Do they go for Trump again and hope the Democrats suck enough for more populism?
If not Trump then who could do the job, Cruz?
Do they move policies more to the left to draw back voters?
Is the tour over and every street corner has a pre-teen transgender hooker on it by 2022?
Does none of this matter cause Trump is gonna BTFO the deep state again?

If the Blue wipe is as significant as it's projecting to be, the GOP will have to do some serious soul-searching. Big factor of the 2016 election was the amount of people who did not vote. That seems to have changed, and, if those votes are Blue votes, then it's signalling to the GOP that their brand of politics isn't popular.
If they survive the election/wave, then the GOP senators will have to push more left and away from the fringe, which I'd argue has alienated their party from many voters. Climate change, renewables, supporting our traditional allies should be on the table in 2020, but they're not. Instead its goose chases like Hunter Biden or "socialism". That means culling the tea party types, culling the deluded cavecels, shifting away from conspiracy towards greater transparency. Not to mention, formal participation in our democratic institutions, rather than trying to run roughshod over rules and procedure.
People are fed up with the current dumpster political situation, and its largely fanned by DJT and his nonsense with the media.None of the above constitutes legal advice nor should be interpreted as such.

As a MAGA voter, I wished the GOP died long ago, that said, their isnt any R party in any form after 2020 if Biden wins and packs the courts. Nation wide Ballot harvesting/amnesty/no voter is illegal concept, completely ends America, let alone any organization with an R after its name....but, plot twist, it actually ends what white libs believe the DNC to be as well.

If the Democrats take over everything, then the Republicans have to come back strong in the 2022 midterms. The minority party typically makes gains in the following midterm, but I think the anger over Trump will still be there for Dems. It would definitely be interesting to watch.
If the Republicans dont have a good 2022, then 2024 would be an almost last stand scenario.
Another big loss would put the party in trouble, especially considering the demographic change that is happening in the country.
Winning elections will get more and more difficult for the Republicans if they keep the same party platform and general attitude that they have now.
Adjustments have to be talked about and normalized now so they can be made to survive long term.

Republicans that are in office are fuked if it truly happens. They showed they have no spine and have done everything Trump has wanted. Democrats are probably going to go in dry with changes to stuff to make it so the Republicans attempts to prevent them from winning office won't happen again.
The younger generation is more liberal than conservative, which means the Republicans will literally have to win something back in 2022 and 2024, or they're screwed.{Misc Fisherman Crew}

You're a low IQ, low information voter if you believe this propaganda.
The only way the dems can win, is through cheating, like they have always done. Seriously, the joke about democrats having dead people vote has been around for half a century or more, and everyone knows it. They are ramping up their election cheating massively this time, since in 2016 they didn't quite cheat enough and were shocked they lost a rigged election.... Hence these pOlLs showing a pædo Biden blowout... They want to have fake polls to support it when there are 300 million mail in ballots, all for Joe, that miraculously arrive days and weeks after the election.MАGА 2024. If the dems win all, the republican platform will be to sit back, watch the dems enact their far left policies, watch them fail, and then run on undoing what they did.
The dems aren’t running on their policies right now, because their platform is trash. They are running on people’s emotions— ie covid sucks, so it must be trumps fault and they have the magic cure.
Once that doesn’t happen, and once people see what policies the libs put through, it will be an easy R win.
Hell, it led to trump getting elected in the first place. Despite Obama’s popularity, people understood the policies stunk.

LMAO.
Okkkkkkkkk.
Whoever wins this thing will be viewed at as illegitimate by 50% of the population.
Republican voters are totally sold on ballot corruption, period. They are a wildcard in this whole process, because we don't know how they will respond if Trump actually loses.
We already know the left will burn the entire country down if Biden loses.
The situation is irreparable at this point, and you're bringing up issues that nobody cares about, such as climate change. A true wincel take.
What, you think things are magically going to repair themselves, and we go back to the Obama days of a fully functional multicultural society (sarcasm) under a Biden admin?
You think Trumpkins are going to completely abandon the things that are important to them for a leftist mindset of a total revamp of culture, government and political arithmetic?
Just lol.
We're in full blown societal collapse politically and economically, and uniting around climate change is going to save the system.

This is insanity. The entire political system itself favors the Republicans. The electoral college allows them to win elections while losing the popular vote. The Senate grants land more power than people, and Republicans maintain the Senate while representing less people than the Democratic Senate states.
The Supreme Court is run by Republicans, who again have multiple members selected by Presidents who were elected by a minority of people.
The Republican Party also controlled redistricting this past decade, allowing them to draw maps that favor them in the House elections, which is why the Democrats only took that back in the 2018 midterms.
The Republicans quite literally have everything going for them from a system standpoint. Their problem is the voters, which is why they try to make it as difficult as possible to vote.
If the Democrats were cheating, then how is is it possible that they have so little governmental control?
You gotta take a look at reality, and not start with the idea that the Democrats are evil and then work down from there.
I wish the Democrats were as ruthless and powerful as you pretend they are.

Pretty much this.
If Biden wins and the dems get a big enough majority in the senate (to overcome their swing state senators who may oppose) . . . they'll take themselves out like they tend to do. They'll overreach on something unpopular and pay for it at midterms.
Which will be too late, because they would have already done something stupid. But that's usually what the dems do to themselves. They've done it with gun control in the past, Hillary-care, Obamacare, etc. Probably will be nuke the fillibuster and then go for medicare for all or green new deal. They'll definitely raise taxes. Or maybe Biden will try a federal 'Rona lockdown if things are spiking. I think Biden's getting cold feet on the court packing now that he's talking "forming a commission to examine fixing the courts" or whatever. Eventually, Pelosi will get to that but I think the senate could be a tough go there depending on where things end up. If they win all three anyway.
But that's how it generally works. Republicans get control but lose it. Dems get control and do something enough people hate that the republicans run on freedom and opposing govt overreach. Republicans get some form of control back. Rinse, repeat.
EDIT: Plus, just LOL if anyone thinks Biden will last an entire term. If he wins, the demands of the office will accelerate his cognitive decline and he'll either resign or be forced out. He definitley won't last 4 years. So somewhere along the line you'd have Kamala in control and then it's really going to get sporty.*MFC Elder Statesmen Cabinet Crew*

Just a statistical note. There is a higher than 66% chance of all three happening (if those probabilities are correct anyway). 66% assumes that the results are not correlated, which is clearly not the case, since all three are generally going to break in the same way from the polls. The actual percentage is probably closer to 72-75%, although I obviously don't have an exact correlation matrix.

Wrong.
Younger generations are always more liberal than older people, that doesn't change.
However, Generation Z is the most conservative young generation in a very long time.
People are becoming more conservative and nationalistic all over the world.
The pendulum is swinging from the global secular order of the past century to a more nationalistic, conservative set of values.
Conservatism is the new counter culture for young kids.
For the first time since 2004 more people identify with Republicans than Democrats.
