Dont enjoy souls games ... But I'd like to experience all dem graphics even for a short while lol .... But I doubt I will tbh. Spiderman, AC Valhalla and Cyberpunk is good enough for my launch. Plus theres a few older games like mafia 1 remake that i want to play on ps5 instead.

Not me. I enjoy watching my cousin play such games(Souls series, Bloodborne) but not into trial and error, extremely difficult games.

I play mostly on the hardest difficulties in games I like(plat Witcher, all Uncharted, Mass Effect 2 and 3, TLOU 1 and 2), but dont want that trial and error ****. I played enough games in NES/SNES for that.

The original Demon Souls was good, but if you play it after Dark Souls, the combat feels too light.

If they fixed that, it's going to be a great game.

Wat?? Once I started that one I couldn't put it down. Demon's Souls is the video game that got me to buy a PS3. Once I tried it I was hooked. I decided a while back that I wasn't gonna get a PS5 and my gaming career would end after this generation and then they announced this chit. I'm still not sure what I'm gonna do yet

Also, been playing the original at 4k 60 FPS on PC and it’s pretty awesome. Was looking forward to remake, but seems unlikely I’ll be able to snag a ps5 until next year after missing out on the preorders

Terrible with jump scares man. Managed to beat DS3, even Nameless King, but so far BB has been trying to give me mini heart attacks everywhere.

The first area, Central Yarnham, and the Forbidden Woods are the worst for jump scares. I hate jump scares myself and can't play Silent Hill games because of that.

I forgot about that werewolf lol. I almost jumped just thinking about it. I can't remember if Old Yarnham is before or after BSB but that area with the gatlin gun guy is super intense. Just keep in mind that the game completely changes tone about half way through. It goes from jump scare to a more disturbing lovecraftian type of horror so if you can power through it gets much better

Defiled chalice dungeon Amygdala would beg to differ... Took me absolutely forever to beat her. BSB is super duper easy once you figure out the trick

The original Demon's Souls was a much different game than Bloodborne. It allowed you to carry as many healing items as you wanted, the combat was waaaaaaayyyyy clunkier and it favored more of a sword and board style where Bloodborne didn't want you to block at all. Another thing about OG Demon's Souls was that magic skills were OP as hell. Pick the Royal for your starting class and it was like putting the game on easy mode

In combat - It's clunkier and slower. Magic in Demon's is more OP than pyromancy was in Dark. In Demon's taking it slow is the way to win. Also Demon's has more ways to cheese. You can farm unlimited healing items unlike estus where you only have a set amount. To offset that though in Demon's you have something called item burden where you can't carry all your armor with you all the time

The world - Demon's isn't as interconnected and has a hub world called the Nexus. Don't let that put you off because the levels are still top tier and varied from one "world" to the next. Demon's version of Blightown is called the Defiled Valley and is somehow even worse. In Demon's one of the world's is called Tower of Latria and it has jumpscares like Bloodborne. The worlds are broken up like this. 1-1, 1-2,1-3 with 1 meaning Boltarian palace and 2 being the level in there. The correct path to take for the game is defeat 1-2 and move on to 2-1,3-1,4-1 or 5-1 but its really fluid and gives you many different paths if you get stuck on a particular section. All the Boltarian palace levels, Tower of Latria levels, etc are interconnected and you can go seamlessly through each

Boss fights - About the same. Many varied bosses and tons of fun

Story - I prefer the Demon's souls story. It's somehow even darker and you really feel for the NPCs

I like Demon's better personally and it's probably my favorite game of all time.

It's my favorite style of video game. I've beaten every boss in the series and I'm not even very good at video games. It's all about persistence and strategy. I still haven't played Seirko though.
