Where is Sillie? I just miss him.
The Era of Great Noticing has begun.
Modern liberalism is morally bankrupt and demonic.
Right wing politics is the new counter-culture.

The doom and gloomers are saying, “yeah ok, good 3rd quarter, but 4th quarter might be bad, and unemployment is still high from where it was.”
A 33% gain is unheard of. It means we’re trending to not only get back but exceed from where we were. With that growth, the jobs will come.
It’s amazing what liberals will do to try and kill morale in the country. This news ought to be celebrated!

Why would I count 401k’s in a mathematical example of GDP reports? Did you just watch 5 minutes of Fox Business and decide to include the words you heard into some sort of clap back?
Here is the Dow 10yr chart if you’re really interested in 401k performance. Feel free to cherry pick 2016 to 2019 to make your point, but you won’t see “triple”.

Regardless, my only point was that “record” improvement needs to be considered in context."I think computer viruses should count as life...I think it says something about human nature that the only form of life we have created so far is purely destructive. We have created life in our own image"

That's the point. It hasn't recovered. It's still down. By the end of Q4 it might be back to where it was when all of this started, which is probably normal for what has happened.
So basically in a year there's been level GDP growth. It's a good thing for your country, but nothing to say anyone is smashing records or killing it.

It most certainly won’t.
Trumpers are cheering about recovering 30% of 30%, a modest recovery that was widely anticipated. They credit this “record” recovery to Trump but somehow absolve him of all responsibility in causing the gigantic decline in the first place.
They also do not care that this meager recovery was accomplished by socialist programs on an unprecedented scale yet fear the “radical” left-wing socialists.
Now that we’re in Q4 without another multi-trillion dollar bailout package and COVID exploding everywhere, the recovery flatlines.
