An attacker with a knife has killed three people and wounded several others at a church in the French city of Nice, according to French police, in an incident the city's mayor has described as terrorism.
Mayor Christian Estrosi said on Twitter the knife attack had happened in or near the city's Notre Dame church and that police had detained the attacker.
He was taken to a nearby hospital after being injured during his arrest, a police official said.
He was believed to be acting alone, the official added. The official was not authorised to be publicly named.
A police source said a woman was decapitated. French politician Marine Le Pen also spoke of a decapitation having occurred in the attack.
The French anti-terrorist prosecutor's department said it had been asked to investigate the incident.

Looks like it. From another article:
https://www.mirror.co.uk/news/world-...-dead-22923554
Two people have been decapitated and a third person has been killed in a suspected terror attack in the south of France.
The mass stabbing happened inside the Notre-Dame basilica in Nice at around 9am just as mass had just started, with several others injured.
The alleged perpetrator shouted "Allahu Akbar" as he was arrested and taken to hospital, the city's mayor said.
At least one of the victims had been beheaded, according to a police spokesperson. It was also confirmed that one of the deceased was a church employee.
So two decapitations. Goddamn.

Keep France French and remove the savages from society. But they won't. Because the wheels of ever increasing economic growth demands an ever growing population. The elites want it to go on, even when the every day citizen suffers and feels no social cohesion.

There are plenty of Muslims who are relieved to escape murderous theocracies in Africa and the Middle East and live in places like France. I have plenty of secular and/or "reform" Islamic friends (some of whom post on this forum) who love the west, and are frankly better at defending its values than most natives.
But imagine you come to the west, a place you've been told has unlimited opportunity and freedom, as a young Muslim man. You arrive and see rampant homosexuality, blatant societal addiction to alcohol and drugs and technology, discrimination towards men in every imaginable sphere (law, work, school, etc.), and you struggle to achieve the success you've been told is available to everyone because you are a low-skilled individual who is maybe average or below average on the IQ scale. All of these things you've been brought up being told are completely haram are shoved in your face daily and if you try to push back on literally any of them even an inch you are canceled and completely invalidated as a person in society. Meanwhile the native culture goes around self-flagellating for "imperialism" and the Crusades which happened literal centuries ago.
I'd expect hearing the Imam or Mullah or whomever preaching about the imminent downfall of the west and the need for Islamic men to rise up would probably strike a chord with you.
No attempt to justify being a ******* terrorist, simply trying to say that the west has completely lost its cultural confidence so it's no surprise young men are brought into these extremist circles which tell them the only way to truly live a good life is by and through an extremist interpretation of Islam.

Anyone who has read the Qu'ran knows you cannot have followers of islam who approve of western ideals. You can have westernised arabs who are holding on to parties and traditions they enjoyed in their youths, but the core teachings revolve around spreading the words through enforcement and war, I just don't see how you can be a muslim and not do that, it'd be like a Christian not promoting peace and respect.
The overall doctrine of christianity, is treat others how you'd like to be treated, all other teachings can be extrapolated from that. Islams doctrine is at all cost cover the world in the teachings of islam, so you're referring to arabic peoples who are christin by nature and morality, but call themselves muslims so they can partake in festivals and parties.

More details from The Guardian, looks like the woman who was decapitated was trying to hide in a bar facing the church. Mayor calling for the removal of Islamo-fascism
The killings happened at 9am on Thursday morning inside the Notre-Dame basilica in the city centre. There were unconfirmed reports in the French media that at least one of the victims had been beheaded.
Police described the scene as a “vision of horror”. The attacker was shot and injured by police and was taken to hospital.
The mayor of Nice, Christian Estrosi, said the attacker had repeated “Allahu Akbar” several times while he was being arrested and handcuffed by police. He said a woman victim had been decapitated but he had no details of how the two others were killed.
Estrosi said: “We have two people killed inside the church … and a third person who was in a bar facing the church where she had taken refuge. Enough is enough … we have to remove this Islamo-fascism from our territory.” The attack comes less than two weeks after history teacher Samuel Paty, 47, was beheaded outside his high school after showing his class caricatures including one of the Prophet Muhammad during a discussion on free speech.
“Before it was a school professor, this time the Islamo-fascist barbarism chose to attack inside a church. Again, it is very symbolic,” Estrosi added. Police confirmed that three people had died in the attack.

Lol? If they don't like it, then don't come to the West? Problem solved. We are not going to change just because something is haram to them.
They come to the western country, it is they who should adapt, whether they like it or not. They should be happy that they even get a chance to come here.Always pick 4 crew

Not sure why you would come with all of that bs narrative, its documented that the overwhelming number of terror attacks in the West are carried out by second-third generation Muslims who are citizens by birth and who never experienced all of that crap in the good ole home countries. Many of them come from seemingly stabile family backgrounds where the first generation parents are working and making a living.

I don't dispute what you're saying, I was simply trying to answer the question "why does this keep happening?" in a more nuanced way than the typical "Islam bad."
That's certainly one route to go. I tend to think it might be the cleanest. Not the most magnanimous, certainly, but it would be effective. Too bad if you try to vocalize such an opinion you are also immediately cancelled.
No narrative brah, just trying to say that it's not surprising that this keeps happening and it's not entirely just so simple as "Islam is a terrible religion." Not many such attacks in the USA where cultural confidence is certainly less than it has been but nowhere near as pathetic as in Europe.

exactly. We shouldn't frame it as "if you come here, you have to live by our globohomo neoliberal values, and adapt. We can all live in harmony!". We just have to say NO. It's not their homeland. No more, "as long it's legal". France is for the french. There are plenty of african and middle eastern countries these people are better suited to.
