For those unaware, he was confirmed positive for covid mid-game and pulled in the 8th inning last night to isolate
LAD goes on to win the WS and he came back out to join the celebration.
And you know what, I don’t ****ing blame him
A once in a lifetime opportunity to celebrate your first World Series championship and you *******s telling him to isolate for a virus that has a 99.999% survival rate
No one told Jordan to sit the bench against the Jazz when he had the flu. He could have passed that to others who could have passed it to an elderly vulnerable person.
But here we are in 2020 where we throw all rational logic out of the window and everyone is making a thing about Turner celebrating all of his hard work with a once in a lifetime moment
It’s such a joke. What’s the point of living if you just strip away all of the joy?
I’m pretty tired of the people scared of living trying to dictate everyone live in a bubble to protect them.
I don’t even like LAD or Turner but good for Turner and f*ck everyone bothered by it.

I don’t blame Justin Turner one bit
"One day I won't be able to lift any more. Not I won't want to lift. I mean physically unable. That day could be decades from now or it could be tomorrow. All I know is that's the day I'll wish I could lift more than ever. The day I'd give anything for one more workout, one more set, or one more cardio session. So go hard and enjoy every workout, every set, every rep. Because one day you will wake up and you will never get it back."

How did he test positive mid game?
This is being talked about more than them actually winning the World Series
Edit: just saw how he was allowed to still play. That’s on baseball and it’s dumb rules. He’s around his teammates in the dugout while his test was pending and it doesn’t look like any of them gave a fuk.
Keith Olberman said they should forfeit game 6 lolLast edited by Droopdx; 10-28-2020 at 11:30 AM.

It’s cute how the low IQ come into a thread and think they’re making a great point.

General public opinion at the time was he had the flu.
No one gives a f*ck that you now know it wasn’t the flu. We’re taking about public perception.
In 1997, the public perceived Jordan had the flu and no one gave a sh*t that he played. In fact, he was praised.
Such a cute effort though. Totally oblivious to the contrast being drawn about the overreaction to one event and not the other.
Critical thinking is very hard though and I emphasize with the less fortunate who simply don’t possess those skills.
I can only hope the awareness of your fallacy will make you less susceptible to posting stupid sh*t that’s irrelevant to the topic at hand in future efforts
Good luck"One day I won't be able to lift any more. Not I won't want to lift. I mean physically unable. That day could be decades from now or it could be tomorrow. I stayed up after the game watching fs1 and the mlb channel, Justin was tested tested earlier and the results came back in the 7th inning.
One inconclusive and 1 positive test, so they yanked him out. There is an unspoken thing, we are iron brothers and sisters, we are to support each other and...It is our duty to support our brothers and sisters in the iron game!

Bro, it seems you've followed me closely for over a decade now. You'd think you'd know by now every one of my predictions is based more on what I want to happen than anything else. LOL at thinking I'm phased by reposted my incorrect prediction. There's like a million of those you could quote up in this section's history. True story.
