Off topic, but for the life of me, I don't see why we haven't increased the age at which you receive social security more than we have. People are living longer, so increasing the age which is a win/win: more money going into the coffers and less money going out. Our kids and grandkids won't see a nickel of social security if we don't make a change.

We (US Gov) have been controlled or at least manipulated by corporations since the Industrial Revolution. Money buys favors in government. The influence they don't buy directly from politicians is done through lobbyists and special interest groups creating the laws that are put fourth as well as revolving doors of people from specific industries running the governmental watchdog agency of that industry. It all started with big factories and cross continental railroads. Its not new, and both sides do it.
