I see a trend and have for several years. Dems are consistently expected to do better (remember Donald/Hillary in 2016). And the senate race in the state near me, McConnell vs McGrath, apparently McGrath had no chance so the media simply didn't post ANY polls. I didn't realize the absence of polls until watching the results and only then realized that it wasn't even close (McConnell wins by 20 points )
