Signed up to a Gold's with 4 punching bags and even a boxing ring lol.
Didn't want to go too ham, but I landed some power shots and even switched to southpaw.

you don't have enough room to work with because of how the bag is set up so your distance is really bad, you're landing most of your straight shots like halfway through your extension
you also look like you get ahead of yourself at times like you don't know what punch you want to throw
Also your hands are low, and you lower your hands after every punch punch
overall you look like an amateur who has had no real training, but has watched some MMA / MMA fighters train
definitely not the worse i've seen of somebody asking for a heavy bag critique though
I give it a 3/10Last edited by Purfected; 10-27-2020 at 05:21 PM.

1 hands up!
2 work on speed
3 improve your cardio, can use burn out drills etc.
4 throw from different distances, I only see you throwing from mid range
5 move! You freeze in place too much, this is where the other guy hits back, unlike the bag
6 Tony Jeffries has a really nice youtube boxing channel, you should watch all his videos a few times over. Great easy to follow stuff in there for quick practical improvement. And watch Fedor classes where he has the guys doing punching drills for MMA, his stuff makes a massive difference, your sparring partners will notice immediately that you have improved. Some of those are in Russian, but whatever... Just follow along.

2nd on hands up
If you are simulating a real fight or even sparring then you are sitting in range the whole time, so practise bridging in and out (moving into range, strike, then out)
Likewise, throw some feints.
When you throw your 2, come up on your toes on your rear foot and pivot around ever so slightly. Then get that hand back for defense.

Got anymore info on bridging? Can't find a good source on it online.
Yea I feel like a lot of my attacks are Tyson inspired. Great watch.
No idea lol. Didn't even know they were behind me when setting up the camera
Yea there are more hot girls lifting at Gold's then the nearby rec center. One of the reasons I joined lol

the gym I am at (city kickboxing) calls it bridging, but its really just moving in and out of punching range - if your'e not in their range you can't get hit.
But you have to obv be in range to hit them, so its all about the moving in and out. You can probe to find your range with jabs

Watching from my phone but like already mentioned... KEEP YOUR HANDS UP. Way too low and you're dropping after every punch.
Work on proper breathing. You look like your holding your breath when doing some of your combos
More power from your legs. You're very upright on your punches, lack any power.W moich zylach plynie Polska krew.

Hands are way to low. Trying to copy philly shell without even having the basics down to pat. Timing, distance, and your technique are all over the place.
Hit up a proper boxing gym and get your fundamentals in correctly. Right now it just looks like someone who's just copying stuff on youtubeThe coming of the Manlet saviour

1. Most of previous points by fellow miscers
2. If you use the philly shell atleast keep your chin tucked behind your shoulder; however this is a pretty advanced stance so I suggest you just try to use a regular stance with both gloves touching your chin at all times.
3. Extend your arms; I know it sounds cool to do those fast semi-extended punches but in a real fight those will be pretty useless
4. Tuck your chin in
5. Work on footwork; plenty of basic videos on youtube
6. Isolate punches instead of doing combinations; perfect the jab first, then perfect the cross, then perfect the hook.
For instance when you throw a left hook you start from your waist; you should start from your chin.
7. Try not to chase the bag like a rabid squirrel, use its momentum
8. Lastly; if you want to use effective bodyshots try to do a mixture between a hook & an uppercut. Those do a lot more damage in a fight because of the way the strike travels towards the liver.Registered Dietitian Crew
