Cruz is only partially right here. True, it may not be changing minds in and of itself. However, big techs response to it is flipping some voters and motivating republicans to vote. Cruz isn’t as in tune to the cultural fight as Trump is and he thinks the typical political tactics work but they don’t when Trump is there to point them out. Cruz’s focus is on the economy and fulfilling promises to voters. This other stuff is just noise to him.

Anyways, Biden is running on this "good guy" theme. Not being corrupt, sensible, calm, civil, logical, ect. Exposure of these things will cast doubt. Face it, nobody likes Biden much, but some might see him as an alternative to Trump. Someone voting for a good man might just not go vote. Meanwhile, it will make Trump supporters more enthusiastic to vote for him and another talking point.
