Hello, i have a question. I dont like to eat at night, because i sleep better without food and i just dont want to prepare something at 12 a.m. Thing is, my last meal (around 30g of protein, some fats, some carbs, it depends on what i eat) is around 8 P.M. But i go sleep at around 12 A.M. And i sleep for like 8 hours and after waking up i have normally breakfast. So my question is, is it bad for gains / lose fat etc. if i go sleep 3-4 hours after my last meal ? Thanks

it shouldn't matter in the grand scheme of things and you should focus on aspects that matter more
maybe if you're competing you should optimize literally everything you can, but casually it shouldn't make a difference
edit: just checked your post history out of curiosity because you're red, and most of the questions you've asked over the 1½ years can easily be googled. i'm not saying you shouldn't ask anything in here, but you should do a quick google search before asking. chances are you'll find a similar thread on these forums or reddit with tons of answersLast edited by faithbrah; 10-27-2020 at 06:45 AM.

I agree. If you can get away with a protein shake before bed without adverse effects on sleep, you can try that if you want.
I do that and I find it makes me get up in the night to go for a pee - but as long as I go straight back to sleep, it's not a problem. If it made me lay awake for 30mins plus, I would stop doing it.
