Lightbulb Getting back into working out - supplements though?

I haven't really worked out in the past 5+ years. Graduated and became busy with work and stuff. I want to get back into it, but I am not looking for size or bulk. I am 5'11 and 190 lbs, and I just want to look like a normal person who works out. 5-years ago I weighted 170lbs. That's my natural weight. If anything I would just like to get my endurance up. I hike, bike, camp and tend to enjoy a more natural lifestyle.

Should I get some supplements? Creatine, Glutamine, T-boosters, Fish Oil, Pre-work energy stuff...etc? Are they effective? I have a varied diet. I eat meat about 3-times a week, I eat sushi / grilled salmon about 2-3 times a week, I eat vegetables and fruits daily...that's kind of my diet; very natural. Which is why I am hesitant about supplements.

So should I take any supplements, and if so which brands? Thank you.

Creatine monohydrate, creapure specifically has been the most studied so if it makes you more comfortable you can look for that. Vitamin D is difficult to obtain from diet alone and if you feel you need the energy caffeine or theres hundreds of pre workout options, it depends on your personal preferences

    Depends what your goals are.

Normally someone just starting out again might just need to simply have a multi-vitamin, and maybe whey protein to help if your diet is lacking protein. Creatine Monohydrate is a good choice as well. 2-5 grams a day. Preworkout if you want an extra boost before the gym but this is not required and definitely suggest starting slow with the stuff and taking breaks from it so your workout doesn't become dependent on it.

Starting out though I'd just suggest Whey Protein, Multi-Vitamin, and maybe Creatine and Fish Oil supplement.
Progress, not perfection. One day at a time.

Current Workout Program: Upper / Low

Current Supplements: Redcon1's Grunt, Total War, and Big Noise. Dymatize Fruity Pebbles. Fish Oil and Walmart Brand Multi-Vitamin.
