Just curious cuz it has been around for years now and never owned one. So thinking of buying one. Does it make things easier? Do you like the features or the novelty wears off soon enough?
Thinking of an Apple Watch or just a Fitbit(since I run a lot anyway).

Only wear it when I run.

Finally bought the Apple Watch 6 a month ago, actually use it a lot more than I'd have thought, nice having a phone on your wrist really. Not a life changer by any means, but it is neat.

I use it on the motorcycle to control my music without pulling out my phone. I use it to track workouts and progress. Heart rate monitor for cardio. You can read messages and emails in any setting discreetly without pulling out your phone (like a business meeting or when you are poking some sugar walls).
It is convenient. I have an apple product so it is a little expensive. I don’t have any regrets about it though.cVc (OIF and OEF): *Retired*

With mine you can use one of the many generic canned texts. Things like “okay”, “thank you”, “see you then”, “so on and so fourth” and so on and so fourth.
It does have a function where you can write your own message one letter at a time by drawing it. That is not my preferred method. I really only use it to preview texts. If I need to respond I will usually just pull out my phone.cVc (OIF and OEF): *Retired*

Is it necessary? No.
Is it useful and convenient? Yes.
The annoying thing is keeping it charged but the newer ones have batteries that last 2-3 days.
Tracking your workouts and being able to quickly check who is messaging/calling you and what they're saying without digging out your phone are the top benefits imo.Liverpool FC. YNWA.

I have an apple watch. Was a gift and didn't think much of it when I got it, but its actually quite useful. sleep/heartrate/fitness tracking is good. I don't have a landline so its useful to know when someone is calling me when my phone is on another floor. some really useful widgets like always knowing the weather/precip chances is nice. I use the sh!t out of the timer for HITT and stretching. I think my favorite thing is the siri voice command though - just raise your wrist and ask a question or tell it to set a timer when cooking is baller AF.

No thanks Jeff, I’m sweet.
Spending $500+ on a watch that you have to upgrade every year or other year just so you can see how many miles you walk each day and see what text messages come in? You’re still going to be pulling out your phone to check or reply back. You can get all the apps the watch has on your phone - it’s literally a scam to hook you on another apple product. At this point it’s not even a wow factor because everyone has one.

don't forget it can turn your phone into a spy camera too.

My wife got me one last week. I hate it because it drains my phones batteries. I also have to turn on the Bluetooth, which I don't like when I'm driving because my truck answers my phone.
I'm doing cardio for a Colorado elk hunt in 2021. I like it because I walk up and down 3 flights of stairs for cardio. I measures my heart rate and counts the steps and time.
So I just wear it when doing cardio. $40.

Does anyone have a job that requires a SecureEmail App to check email?
If so, can you check that SecureEmail app from your Apple Watch?
I'm sure it'll be different between everyone's SecureEmail Apps, but just checking if its even possible. When Trump faces a reality she can't stand, she becomes highly emotional and illogical. Every crisis is met by histrionics, tantrums and an inability to deal with facts. "Its a HOAX! Its a FRAUD!"
The emotion then becomes the reality. Those of us with girlfriends are familiar with this phenomena. Donald Trump menstruating 24/7: "Blood coming out of his eyes, blood coming out of his WHEREVER."
