I'm starting to think saving money is BS

Money is meant to be spent. I think I wrongly bought into the stingy approaches to money.

Obviously I think having some money saved is essential, but past that it gets ridiculous.

First rule is don’t be poor.

Poor not only mean no financial means. It also means a poor mindset.

I lol at oldcels who finally can travel around the world in business class whilst annoying business travelers with the constant smell of feces.

    Love balanced.

Usually people who talk about saving for retirement and just dirt poor and fronting they have something in the pocket... though for much later use lol

After falling in disgrace to a manmore, a ravaged manlet would not hesitate to come from behind and land a sucker punch/ swing with a rock to the back of a manmore's head. They are ruthless and you need to spend some more time in the gutter to even begin trying to comprehend what goes on in their minds."

Spend money on things with high resale value like sex dolls. People get bored using the same sex doll after a while. Buying used sex dolls is starting to become very popular.

I agree. most people save too much imo. 2020 has shown us the future is uncertain as hell. im sitting here in 2020 regretting not spending like 3-4x more in the previous years instead of saving. I regret not living my life when I could've to save for a tomorrow that may never comes.

im grateful in that sense. im late 20's will enjoy my life more and spend more money once the plandemic is over.

if you save more than like a couple thousand a month youre doing it wrong.

They dont want you to 'save' because it allows you to become financial independent and free. Its not good for society to have a bunch of people who dont need to work and mooch about all day.

However, if you're smart - you will realise that if you want to go down the 'free' route, you should chase wealth - not money or status.

People who chase money are always usually selling their time for $.

So start up a company, take control over the taxes you pay and become as tax efficient as possible.

Buy appreciating assets, equity or shares within a business - avoid spending recklessly or buying things that depreciate.

You want to get into a position where your work is fully automated/scheduled and you can reinvest the profits whilst reducing your taxes in more business ventures that earn you even more whilst you sleep. Thats why they say "Make your money work for you"

Luckily, the internet has massively broadened the potential of earning - but the vast majority of people arent utilising its potential. I think most people Sub 20 are too young/not driven / mature enough yet to understand this and people 40+ years old are usually already comfortable within their career and dont want to take the risks.

Money is especially worthless given that the US Federal reserve stopped backing the USD against gold. Now they can keep just printing and printing.

Thats why the debt bubble is so MASSIVE and everyone is hugely over extended.

imo thats why its always best to spread your investment portfolio and not stick all your eggs in one basket. So Property, stocks/shares, gold/silver, cryptocurrencies, classic cars/art/appreciating assets etc.

Lots of super rich guys you see are like 90% balls deep in property, but dont have enough to pay off their entire mortgages.

Many westerners may find out what Russians have known since the 90s

However re: property, if you suspect that the government is going to debauch the currency then holding debt against real estate is not a terrible idea

As a property developer I can handle both the upswing and the downswing, only real risk is stagflation

    Technically, yeah.

If you're just saving the money in a bank account it's hardly a worthwhile investment - but depends on how you define investment; I'd suggest the utility one gets from spending the money on something positive or enjoyable is an investment in ones health and/or well being, or mental health or whatever excuse people use to create a cash related dopamine hit

Debt is the real bitch. Being good with money is more about avoid debt than saving.

Know a woman who got an out of court payout of about £25,000 and blew through it going to expensive restaurants, cocktail bars and other complete bullchit. One year later she was back into debt with the same broken car she had before the money. Some people are just dreadful with money.

Having money in savings besides an emergency fund is stupid. You need to put that money to work.

Lettuce be cereal, governments/corps want you up to your dick in credit debt. If you are saving money or investing then have an endpoint plan when to use that money, retire early, travel, transfer it into your kid's funds lol aka straight up give it to liberal professors and intuitions.
Property is a safer investment but the returns aren't huge and the taxes are high, shares are also a grind. In the end money/property/shares like sloots is put best in this context, it's just your turn with it, it's never yours.

I save every month when I get paid but I'm still able to spend money on things I want within reason, then again I still live with my parents so it's much easier.

I see it mainly as a safety net incase of an emergency or if something in my life goes horribly wrong, atleast I'll still have savings to fall back on.

OP is having a checkers strategy in the game of chess. Try to convince Warren Buffet, Bezos, Gates to use money like that and they'll ask security to toss you out the room.

"Having some money saved up" should be around 6-12 months of living expenses. To put that in better terms, 70% of Americans didn't even have a grand in their savings on 2019
    https://www.statista.com/chart/20323...othing%20saved.

So when 2020 spreaded everybody's asscheeks you already know what happened next

After expenses, figure out the number you need to retire off of. From there it's multiple streams, dividend stocks/index funds, "Cash flow" for the 2 real estate miscers, etc. One formula online will have you do Annual income x 25=the number you need to truly be damn near at the pinnacle of financial freedom

You're not going to get rich from one job nor are you safe with 1 job, 2020 has shown that.
"You can train as hard as you want to, but without the right fuel supporting your training and recovery, you will never see the results that you should."-Iron Man

Oh by the way...Size f*cking matters, in everything. Don't believe the hype. Size f*cking matters. Size DOESN'T matter to people who don't have any size, that's why they're like "oh size doesn't matter". SIZE, GIRTH, THICKNESS, EVERYTHING. Its a game of inches in life..add up all those inches, Victory muthaf*cker!-Greg Plitt
