So one day I’m working my minimum wage job when this guy comes in with 2 children and starts talking to me about his business. I end up asking him how he started his business and how it’s going. He just gives me his number and says to contact him. So I contact him.
We end up FaceTiming for an hour, where he’s just talking about entrepreneurship and after the call he sends me some YouTube links on TEDTALK vids like “trust” and “value you can give” I watched those and the second FaceTime was a red flag. He started talking about how he was in my position and how he ended up a entrepreneur from his mentorship and how he would like to “give back” and mentor me.
He wasn’t no Amazon drop shopper or nun. He operated on a website that used the first 2 letters of “Amazon” and had a direction completing the word.
I was sceptic at this point. I just ended up going along with him to the end of the FaceTime call and he provided me with 2 videos (each an hour long) on entrepreneurship and said he would send me a zoom invite with his “business partner” and that many more like me would be there. At this point I got kinda sussed out since it seems like some scheme but the only reason I’m not 100% sure is because...
Who tf goes around with 2 children in their stroller trying to find unsuspecting min wage workers to take advantage of?
No way this guy rented fake children to scheme people. On the FaceTime he was in his own theatre room and let’s be real you have to have some sort of money to have a theatre room, like a mansion does.
Is this guy a fraud? Or is he genuinely trying to make me money?

If you are poor and have people coming up to you, please think.
Poor people have little legal recourse. On the other end of the spectrum, those who have wealth are always involved in legal disputes and know the law and how to use it well.
