    Good Squat Alternative?

Hey guys. I bought a Safety Bar for my home gym and found a great exercise called` hatfield squat`. The Safety Squat bar lays on my trap and it does not Fall down. And l Do Not hold the Bar With my hands. My hands will hold onto something. IT is assisted With my hands and l squat like usual. I found out l squat more weight With this style. Is that good for the quads. Or is it cheeting? CAN I build big quads With this technique?

The quads are the prime movers whatever the squat variation. What on earth do you mean by cheating?
Am I therefore become your enemy, because I tell you the truth?

Hatfield squats are pretty GOAT. They even sell handles that go in the holes on squat racks just for that exercise.

GOAT or GOAT not. There is no "pretty GOAT".
