You have QBs like Murray and Lamar playing The QB position that would be converted to a Wr if they played in Vick’s Era. How would Vick be in 2020 where he wouldn’t be forced to be a pocket QB? Dude has probably the best a talent I’ve ever seen srs.

Vick had the raw athleticism to be the best QB of all time, no question. Problem was he was a f*cking moron who didn't work hard to perfect his game.
Most pro athletes still have to work very hard to get to their level even with great talent. Vick is one of the few exceptions you can tell didn't work hard at sh*t but his raw talent was so good he made it all the way pro anyway. Such a waste... smh"One day I won't be able to lift any more. Not I won't want to lift. I mean physically unable. That day could be decades from now or it could be tomorrow. All I know is that's the day I'll wish I could lift more than ever. The day I'd give anything for one more workout, one more set, or one more cardio session. So go hard and enjoy every workout, every set, every rep. Because one day you will wake up and you will never get it back."

Better than Lamar for sure.
Vick had the biggest arm I've ever seen.
Dude was just nonchalantly throwing 50 yard bombs with a flick of the wrist. The billionaire and the beggar both have 24 hours in a day.

Negative.
Vick always had suspect WR's.
Team was great running but Algae Crumpled was Vick's only real weapon.
Although I believe towards the end of his tenure he may have had Roddy White.
If they gave Vick a real offense like choke job Manning it would have been unfair.
But that of course brings into question how much Vick was earning.
Maybe would have had better weapons if he wasn't being paid so much. The billionaire and the beggar both have 24 hours in a day.

Hard to say. He'd be given a way better chance to succeed in today's nfl, but the question is would he take advantage of it? He admitted that he really didn't care about film and the mental aspect of the game, so there's a chance he has the same career just with inflated stats since everyone throws for 4k yds in today's nfl.
Doubt he would go #1 overall in today's nfl, probably would be asked to switch positions like Lamar

I'm not a Lamar fan, I'd take Vick's talent anyday, but I still stand with my point since it seems like a good QB was a lot more rare in 2001 than it is today, look at Minshew for example. A 6th rd rookie going 6-6 as a starter with a chit team with a chit coach would've been impossible back in 2001

Depends on his situation drafted into and the work he put in, but I think he'd be great if he could stay on the field. In Atlanta he basically did no prep/film study but changed that when he went to philly. Forget which year in philly but he was arguably the best player in the league in the games he played, only played 12 games though if I remember correctly (availability was a huge problem of his overall).

Growing up in ACC territory (NC), all you heard about from 1998-Dogfighting Year was Mike Vick.
He would be similar to Cam from 2011-2015 imo except less work ethic: Consensus Top 12 QB with a top 5 QB highlight reel while probably being able to string together a couple of insane statistical seasons. He would probably have better receivers, and with the modern era his stats would be inflated. I think with the influence stars have now when it comes to constructing their own teams, he might squeak out a ring maybe...who knows?
I think his career would be around 90-95% of what it was in his own era. He wasn't a winner. He was just better than you.
:25
However, he threw the greatest looking ball I mean got DAMN. 60+ in the air with a casual step and throw.Last edited by CougarP01; 10-23-2020 at 08:11 AM.

Also agree with this. Ravens wised up and used Lamar to his strengths. They stopped trying to make him a pocket passer. If Vick had been given the same treatment, I would expect similar results.
Neither of those guys are gonna sit back and go through 3-4 reads and pick a defense apart. Gotta turn them loose and get the defense on it's heels.6'1 - 240lbs
