Has anyone participated in this and what should I expect?
I am hoping to either purchase the Ironmaster 45 and an addon kit or heavy handle kit, or the regular Ironmaster 75 kit with stand.
Is it structured as a cart option and then it assigns a lottery number?

I didn't participate in that one. I participated in one of their earlier versions where they had a waiting room and you were assigned a number. It was a joke, people found out ways to bypass it. I don't expect this to work any better. Their website is a joke and ordering system is antiquated. I wouldn't expect this to go any better, good luck. The only reason I got my IM dumbbells with 120lb add-on was I complained loudly enough that I was a pre-covid customer and should have been given some consideration. They gave me a link to "secret stock" of dumbbells as they called it and I was able to place my order. I've been buying other stuff as it comes available just by checking it daily. I got the IM2000 and several accessories recently. I hope you get the dumbbells, you'll really like them. They make solid products and kudos to them for not raising their prices during this time.

I'm talking street prices. The IM2000 pre-covid was $1399 but "on sale" for less than that. Now they removed the "on sale" price. I'm sure they could ask a whole lot more and get it. Someone was having an interesting conversation thread on here about if the manufacturers would raise their prices then it could stop the inflated flipping prices of new equipment. Not sure how I feel about that. I have been buying nothing but new equipment from manufacturers for the first time in 20 years since if I'm patient, I'm getting new equipment for less than used in the present market. Luckily I had a fully stocked home gym pre-covid, I'm now just getting things I want. It's nice to not be in a need place like many new home gym owners are. I'd hate to start a home gym in this market.

There was a much older design Iron Master 80 Quik-Change (Hoist style) set a few hours drive from me for $450ish but I wasn't thrilled on its lack of 2.5 lb plates and the 6 hour drive round trip. All the plates included were 5 lb. Guess I could have bought that and used some cap 2.5 pancakes. The overall quality and finish on it and its included stand were inferior to the modern design and from the hoists from what I could tell.
A mint Hoist 45 for around $450 with stand about 2 hour round trip away, but I really want to go up to ~75lb. I guess I could have done the Hoist and then bought a heavy handle kit to take it to 60 as I think it would fit, but I wasn't positive. It was tempting.
I don't use ultra heavy dumbbells anymore because I can't flat bench, my t-spine isn't happy with the pressure on it, I just use incline and shoulder press. So really a 75 lb kit would be ideal for me. The most I ever did flat bench was 105s and that was years before I had surgery in my thoracic spinal cord.

Honestly, for the Pro version I think the price increase is justified. The padding has improved, it comes standard with wheels now, and the black powder coat is nicer that the regular shiny frame IMO. Also, since the Pro version is now 17" they have it angled when using the leg extension, which makes hamstring curls feel better than when it was flat. All around excellent changes from Ironmaster.

Ironmaster Super Bench Pro is "Back In Stock" hurry and nab one! I just quickly put my order through.
Edit: Made a separate order for the crunch/decline attachment as well, luckily there's no extra shipping charge putting in another order since shipping was free on both orders (obviously there's a price bump so there's that, but seeing as how the bench is highly regarded I suppose it's justifiable).Last edited by Deep-Voiced-One; 10-28-2020 at 10:21 AM.

The only other attachment I got for the bench is the preacher curl. I have a dedicated Parabody leg ext/curl machine that I like. If space becomes an issue I can see adding the leg attachment and the hyper ext attachment to replace my crappy TDS hyper extension/GHD. I did get the roller covers for the decline and put them on last night. I used them this morning and it felt much nicer than the bare foam rollers. It's B.S. they just don't come with the covers, I forked over the extra $16, but am glad I did. Looks much nicer and definitely feels better. I bought the IM 2000 once it came back in stock and I've been using it now for a few weeks. I'm been buying attachments for it. I have the land-mine and I bought the docking attachment for the preacher curl. The ultimate row handle will be delivered today. Just this morning I ordered the foot plate for the seated row. I could see getting another Super Bench Pro and using it just for attachments at some point.

I didn't even realize they had roller covers for the foam and I agree that is B.S. that they aren't included on them, I'll probably get them later on once they're back in stock.
I went ahead and purchased the Hybrid Pad to add on while it's still currently available...figured I like a wider pad for shoulder support and already have a 10.25" pad with the Legend 3103 and an 11.25" pad with the Rogue Adjustable 2.0, might as well get the best of worlds on a single bench and use the standard pad for low rows on the floor.

I didn't even know there were roller covers. I'll pick these up when they are available again.
I have the leg extension/curl and I like it a lot. For leg curls you cannot use 45 pound plates, they need to be 35 or smaller. At the bottom for leg extensions my legs are around 90 degrees, if you want a deeper angle (more ROM) then that's not going to be possible. With leg curls the weight releases at the very end of the movement so if you really want to contract hard at the end that's not going to be possible either. However, neither of these are problematic to me and I'm still very thrilled with it.Last edited by Heisman2; 10-29-2020 at 03:54 PM.

Urban, it was a toss up (when I had my old Powertec bench press), but I found making $225 more attractive than dissecting the rollers lol...I guess it's $16 out of pocket for me.
Heisman2, thanks for the detailed info, it's a bummer 45s don't work on leg extensions/leg curls with it...but like you mentioned, it's definitely not a deal breaker. I would use these as accessory work here and there anyway so high reps to burn out the legs would suffice and the single leg option is still doable.
It's a bit of a pricey piece for what it is, but way less than the stand alones on the market (my only other option I would consider if going stand alone would be the Body-Solid non-cam version, but that's way more than I want to pay for a leg ext/leg curl piece), also note worthy is the little space the IM bench with the attachment takes up.Last edited by Deep-Voiced-One; 10-29-2020 at 03:45 PM.

I think I get what you mean here on the leg curls, you get to a point and gravity takes over and the weight loses and basically falls down towards your butt at the top of the movement? If that's the case a light tension band might work well here to keep tension at the top portion of the movement.

Here's a vid I shot. I will in the nearish future be starting a youtube channel but I'm not there yet and haven't spent any money on equipment or time learning how to edit, but I think this came out ok. https://www.dropbox.com/s/xfypf9tj5a...20363.mp4?dl=0
If there are further questions let me know.
