    Exclamation Question: Bodyweight to Strength

I have a question about how body weight helps your strength. So at the moment i weight 164lbs at 9% bodyfat and i am going to bulk for the winter. I have in fact been out of training for 6 months due to Covid-19 and got back in the gyms a week ago. I plan on bulking to 175-185 lbs at a reasonable body fat %, which will be around ~15%. My question is is when i bulk up to that weight i hear that when you put on more bodyweight, your strength in your lifts goes up a lot. I wanted to clarify this and hear what your opinions are because i really am curious and want to learn. Now obviously, my strength and size will increase quickly because of muscle memory and getting back to training after being out of training for 6 months and also because of my bodytype (i put on muscle and gain strength easily).

Please feel free to give your opinions on this topic, i truly want to learn more.
    ¿Do You Even Lift?

Greek Mythology says that when Atlas died, King Ron replaced him to hold earth on his shoulders. And he was screaming "Yeah Buddy, Ain't Nothing But A Peanut"

More body weight (in a lifter) generally means more muscle mass, so more strength. Weight moves weight; there is a reason most pro power lifters do not try to stay lean, it is also why there are weight classes in lifting competitions.
Short cuts to success are often paved with lies.
    1/13/16: Massive hernia.
5/10/16: Finally back to lifting, light but improving.
