After Covid gym shutdowns of course. But also any injuries or just starting lifting for the first time?

Im very lucky I've had a garage gym for the past 20+years.
Things like this event and other stuff in the gym make me happy i have it.
If i didn't have my gym i would of been doing what i could to stay in shape ala bodyweight ,calisthenics and cardio.
Even with a just a few gym tools you open up a lot of different training options.
Good luck to you guys just getting back to it.

These feels real spammy but I'll chime in.
Trying to get going again after hitting my max weight of 240. Broke my back and neck along with about 19 other bones last year. I used to think I had a lot of excuses...now I've had real ones. Time to shove them all to the trash! Trying to sort out my best plan of action for lifting weights. Always been a big cardio/HIIT type of person. I've got to get strength around these bones of mine.
Good luck to you all.

Thanks so much for the kind words. I really appreciate that, and I certainly plan to do my best! We're given one body, one shell. You've got to take care of it and it will perform in relation to how you take care of it and work on it. I actually had to do physical therapy for 9 months so I spent a lot of time with a physical therapist. It still leaves some uneasiness, though. I'm released to do any exercise, but certain exercises I just have to be careful with, and modify as necessary. Thankfully I was never into high weight, low reps. I definitely need to be on the opposite of that scale now. I was always a little easy going over to the weight side in a public gym...that feeling is even more prevalent now being I can't start off with really heavy weight. At the end of the day though, I know what it feels like to be broken in half! So safety is key.
Take care!
