I remember Event Horizon being frightening. My brother really liked The Ring. Not sure if either of those have been said yet.

I still like the haunting. I was in......9th grade when it came out and IIRC, that was the VERY FIRST DVD i ever watched.
Also LOVED Doctor Sleep. I didnt know it was a sequal to The Shining (which i also loved). If i had known, i would have re-watched it
Seen them all. I dont like watching foreign movies because its tough for me to read subs and pay attention to the action. I'm lame like that
fukking loved Event Horizon. I'm big into astronomy and whatnot so that only made it better for me. I watched The Ring my senior year on Hilton Head island with my then gf on spring break with her family at their condo. She was too scared to sleep alone that night. Fixed the first movie title for you. Also, i loved that one. Very original concept
Constantine is one of my favorites. Makes me wish i grew up reading comics. I am still hoping for a sequel. I recentyly heard about fallen though
13 ghosts was pretty good, if not a bit campy at times. I was in like...9th grade when i watched it but man did i have a huge crush on shannon elizabeth“That is not dead which can eternal lie, And with strange aeons even death may die.” - The Nameless City by HP Lovecraft

Behind the Mask: The Rise of Leslie Vernon is a lesser known horror thriller satire about a guy training and plotting to become a notorious slasher movie serial killer IRL. He even has a retired slasher killer mentor. Guy hires a documentary film crew to promote his exploits. Craziness ensues.

I'd go with Platoon or Full Metal Jacket, classic war movies
I Saw The Devil is kind of torture porn thriller if anything. Great great movie though, top 10 all time for me.rumpler of stiltskins
