Want a new TV before I get the PS5. There's so many, I have no idea which to choose. What's the best brand with top notch quality?

why 43"
idk if they will have the more higher end TVs at that size
get HDMI 2.1 as ps5 will support it. Allows for 120hz at 4k i think, variable refresh rates and a newer type of HDR, then look into the type of HDR and/or dolby vision it supports.
I have a 3 year old midrange non oled Sony and have no regrets but I havent kept track of which current day models are best. Use rtings.com for reviewsLast edited by elterrible987; 10-19-2020 at 07:37 PM.

Cliffs:
Dark room and use without static images and nothing beats OLED
Bright room and/or static image use and nothing is worse than OLED
Rtings.com for research
Not sure what you have now but if you already have 4k and HDR I'd wait till next year as TVs with HDMI 2.1 should take a big step forward.

Damn thats annoying with the OLED.
My next TV purchase is going to be something I can stream from a 2080 GPU (laptop) to that is over 40" used for gaming/TV/streaming. I understand that minimum 120Hz refresh rate, HDMI 2.1 and obv 4K. Is there anything else with this that may fuk me over after I buy?USMC 0311
