when i try to squat with a barbell i tend to lean more to the front and cannot lean back or go very deep as my ankles just wont allow it. Any idea how i could improve this so that i can squat deeper?
This may or may not be an ankle mobility issue, lots of other things involved. One way to work on this is pause squats. Load the bar with a reasonable weight, go down to the bottom and just hang out there for a bit, repeat for multiple reps.
