I don't disagree that Lopez slowed down considerably in the later rounds but Loma was essentially MIA in the first half of the fight. You can't win without punching. If the fight went another three rounds I would concede that Lomachenko probably wins but no way Lopez didn't win at least 7 out of 12.

It may have been partially a respect of power but lol if you think that’s what he was doing. He was letting him swing to **** with his game plan. In every single early round loma landed at lwast 1 crystal clear shot while lopez landed NONE. he was only hitting glove or extremely outstretched to the body to the point where there is no power. No sane individual should have scored the fight for him.

Maybe in terms of long term damage but mma is way more savage. Most boxing matches end with both fighters still looking fairly normal. UFC fighters look completely bloodied and mangled. Knees, elbows, kicks, bone on bone, chokes, submissios. Just brutal. Legit don't understand how they can take repeated shots like that and keep going.
