She was in the right. Those aren't weights meant to be slammed/dropped on the floor. They make special bouncy weights for that.

Dropping/slamming those kinds of weight will cause them to break over time.

Myself at that kids age. I probably would have done the same thing. I’m in my mid 30s and just can’t take **** like that anymore, so I would have put her in her place.
