Maybe I'm just cheap, but I always thought you were supposed to tip between 10-20% for dine-in, depending on service.
Also, I don't think I've ever tipped for takeout lol.

Tipping culture needs to be phased out. Chits absolutely retarded.
I went to Japan and tried to tip the restaurant staff and they refused. If my bill is $100 why should I feel obligated to pay $120?
A fukkn monkey can go refill a drink, or bring my food from the back to my table. If I go to a massage parlor and you rub and tug my dink and massage my balls ever so softly as I'm ejaculating then of course, I will tip for this service.

lmao, if you tip less than 20% the servers will think either they did something wrong or that you are a phucking @ssh0le, srs. No wonder you *******s wait 20 minutes for your refills, etc.
if you tip more than 20%, they gonna be swinging by your table every few minutes to make sure your drink is full, etc.(__Y__) Misc Buck Breaker (__Y__)

10-20% depending on a few factors has been the standard for a long time. It's only recently that brainwashed cucks have been tipping more than 20% in some sort of "keeping up with Jones's" mindset to make themselves feel successful for not being "cheap"
It's no wonder these guys typically have no net worth to speak of lol

the other side of it is pretty lulzy too. brb, coming in after some poorcel or a cheapcel table during dinner rush, getting my food and my drinks constantly topped off, getting full as phuck, having desert, paying and leaving... while the cheapcel table is still waiting on something cause all the servers are running around like mad lmao

Personally:
20% to a server unless they suck ass then $15%
$3-10 at the counter if I feel like it, regardless of food cost
$1 to a bartender per drink unless it's some ****gytime complicated cocktail, then $2.
$5-15 for delivery. Can't believe people tip for delivery based on % of meal cost. Literally could be a bag of food that cost you $150 or a bag of food that cost you $25. Either way they show d up to the place, grabbed a bag, drove it to you, and dropped it off. Tip based on delivery distance only. 2 miles? $5. 6 miles? $10-15HTC
