Considering getting a retail space. Not sure if this is the best idea in the world but I need to do something to expand.
I have multiple office spaces rented but retail space seems like an entirely different game with build out allowances and NNN. I am really not aware on what all I need to look out for in these agreements. Are there any strategies to getting the best "deal".
Everything is negotiable. I would put something in the lease that lets you opt out with something like a 60 or 90 day notice in case the space is not working out for you.
