    What do you put in your shakes?

    I'm trying to make my own superfood shakes, I'm currently having a combination of Maca, Spirulina and Wheat Grass, but it tastes DISGUSTING.

    What can I add to give it a yummy flavour?

    1. Add a banana
    2. Add cinnamon
    3. Add sweetener/honey
    4. Add peanut butter
    5. Add bluberries
    6. Get rid of the maca, spirulina and wheat grass.



    Seriously now, those things don't have a decent taste, you can improved it a little with sweetener/fruit/peanut butter... but still, some of the bitterness remains.
    I like to learn from the mistakes of the people who take my advice.

    All 3 of these taste disgusting and are unnecessary in any diet unless you like them. Try different fruits, veggies for a highly nutrient dense shake. Green leafy veggies are easy to blend, provide nutrients similar to the green stuff you mentioned and adding some fruits adds flavor, fiber and other nutrients.
    Your nutrition and workout program determines your success.

    This. Whey is never going to be nice. The only thing i put in is either water or yogurt. I'd rather eat other things that taste nice separately.

    Banana might be the only thing strong enough. Haha. Maybe Banana and some coconut? I don't know. I never go that superfood. My smoothies usually consist of frozen fruits (tropical medley), almond milk, scoop of my BCAA or Aminos depending on the day, and sometimes some greek yogurt. Otherwise just plug your nose and chase it with a bunch of water.

    Add a banana, naturally-sweetened protein powder (for taste), some blueberries, some honey for more taste...you can also add other fruits and fruit juices, if you want
