Because the premium would be like 27-30 per contract.

For ****s and gigs i just looked it up, lowest call for pltr is 4 bucks and the premium for Nov 27 call is at 25.30 for the ask.....so yeah thats why.

You get what you pay for.

The cheaper the contracts are, the more expensive they actually are when you factor in theta decay.

But why worry about all that ****, just buy calls and find out how options work later.

He's actually kind of a genius. Start up a company with under 70K in total revenue, become a billionaire off said company, get asked to resign while still being able to keep your 8.6M shares of company stock and then come Dec 1 when your lockup is over unload every share on the morons who've been pumping up your share price and tank the company's stock.

Take a look at tastytrade or investopedia to learn more on options. I got super lucky on my first few plays, and it took me getting burned a couple times before I finally did some research. You should get some info before playing more options. You'll still get burned, but at least you'll know why lol

I feel like my previous tidbit got glanced over previously so on a somewhat drunken night before thanksgiving Imma just go ahead and rehash it out.

Amazon's pharmacy run yeah whatever sure that isn't probably the greatest news for pharmacies. BUT for anyone that knows anything about the biz flu shots are a big ol' deal. estimates are out there saying 20% more people got flu shots this year on average(rough #s I've seen from ins companies). That is a fairly big number and you can expect that to impact bottom lines dramatically. I've said it before in other post, but administration fees from most pharmacies I believe are like $20-25ish I'm not 100% if there is a standardized number or not, but I've worked in places that used one or the other of those numbers.

    HOWEVER.

Now there is covid and a COVID vaccine. It isn't just one shot, but 2. I'm sure this comes to no surprise to you that obviously pharmacies are going to charge that same fee each time a vaccine is given. So... if a 20% jump in flu shots administered will be significant imagine what adding 2 more vaccines into the mix will do. I personally don't think any of this whatsoever has been priced in. I looked at current earnings- WMT, CVS, and WBA had their earnings mid October through mid November and since the quarterly results are usually 2 months behind they don't mention much about changes in vaccinations however at least CVS revised their year guidance upward. I don't think any of them are giving solid answers as far as 2021 guidance goes (only read CVS earnings transcript though and let's be real pharmacy business for Walmart doesn't mean much so they get lumped into health and wellness ayy lmao). I think it is fair to anticipate seeing similar rates of vaccination for covid as there are flu vaccines spread over the 2021 year.

All said and done I estimate there is probably like 8-10 billion dollars going towards pharmacies for giving covid vaccines. Add that to retail places doing more business selling food/things people horde and I'd imagine that Costco, Kroger, and Albertsons should all do well.
