I normally throw 5k on contracts and the day that I bought 23k in RIOT options, was the day GME hit 20 and i bought $500 of GME 2/19 22.5C with the rest of the available cash.

Cant imagine if i put that 23k in GME...



We're gonna make it, I was down to 14k that week ending 1/15. bought 222 GME shares and 75 contracts of 6/18 AMC 6C
I paper handed those.


But I closed at 39k today, gonna be a strong day tomorrow.

I personally think its hedge funds and institutions last chance to stop GME going out of orbit. There days are numbered and the walls are closing in, they know and so does WSBets, social media and anybody else interested in stocks. Judging from there actions, this is a sign of desperation and they now look the weak hands, infact I think they have potentially made this a whole lot worse for themselves..

Social media is going berserk over MEME stocks. All I see is GME, AMC, BB, NOK everywhere. No one even cares about APPL, MSFT, Tesla.

Prediction: Premarket looks not so great to scare investors from executing their orders. GME dips and absolutely rockets shortly after. Investors will pour in and GME will blast off over $800. MEME stocks will go berserk. Shorts will be forced to cover.

Position, GME, NOK, BB.

In economics, a market is a coordinating mechanism that uses prices to convey information among economic entities (such as firms, households and individuals) to regulate production and distribution.

If there is very little supply and very high demand, the prices go up. There's fundamental analysis of a business and there's diagnostic analysis. If the stock is 140% shorted it's mathematically impossible = BUY AND HODOL

Also he keeps saying there's no fundamentals behind it. What the fuk is short selling to 140% if not fundamentally analysing that something smells fishy with the stock? That's literally one of the cores of stock investing. I think he needs to look at the definition of the words he is using more often.

That’s what I figured I’m not a “day trader”, don’t use leverage/options or anything and typically hold my positions for at least a few months but I feel like I got the right personality for it. Analytical, deliberative, learner and competition are my top 4 personality traits (my job paid to have me tested) and I basically have no emotions. I’m an accountant so I can read financial statements and completely understand them and Ive seen the portfolios/transactions of hundreds of wealthy individuals. I really only started “trading” in January of 2020 and I turned a $10k account into $160k so far. Everyone looks like a genius in a bull market I guess, I’ll probably just wage cuck it at the firm and just build my portfolio on the side.

This is the way. I'm an economist so different flavor but job frequently crosses over into finance, worked as for awhile as the staff economist for a collection of three billion+ pension funds, etc.

Just keep adding, tax advantaging, and if you haven't - start diversifying. With interest rates it would be ideal for you to focus on a first home if you don't already at a 15 year rate. You'll accumulate significant equity quickly from principal plus appreciation, can always take a HELOC out in a couple years for a down payment on an investment property. Single family homes are expected to continue to appreciate in excess of inflation for the next four years.

It's amazing how quickly your net worth beings to increase, you earn the next $800,000 of your first million faster than you earned the first $200k, seriously. Also, just don't do something stupid and buy a $40k car at your age.

Generally no, although it's been getting a bit more popular with this bull market and the risk on. Also, guys like Chino are doing some more intermediate and beyond types of trades as well involving options that are more than just buying calls or puts.

It's become a bit more of a YOLO thread in the past couple years, before that the wildest people got generally was betting big on calls during options season.
