What do you mean? If you aren't long, I don't know why you touched this. There's a lot of manipulation, but once thats over (either MM moving on, or RKT proceeding with their 1b buy back) it's going to explode. Also JPM announced they are now sitting at over 5 million shares of RKT

Might regret closing this out, but it was a quick flip as I have more calls and long shares. But I feel comfortable just chilling with any other moves for a while, unless seems amazing...

You're still right around break even with tons of time. Let it ride. Worry about rolling out when it gets closer. If you broker allows naked calls you could also sell a call against it for some extra premium and room to the down side. A $275 call would add about $11.75.

this is a huge factor. I know I even experienced this when we were seeing massive gains, but it went from me being excited about a ~$500 play to not feeling anything if it was under $2k. Once I realized this, I made myself step back and focus on the grind and the long plays, instead of that instant gratification.

Also, people get excited about seeing a single gain, and go "wow... that was easy, surely I can repeat this"



It's people who don't want to wageslave their lives away, and see an avenue to "financial freedom" combined with that dopamine reward, it gets everyone salivating at the idea.

Spent the last five years in upstate NY for work, visiting killington a ton for weekends and friends. Most of the cities in VT are amazing. I wouldnt mind retiring there at all.

It's not much different than a naked put, just on the other side. And since you've already put up the collateral for the put side, they shouldn't hold anything extra on the call side. Selling a call against the put just brings in more premium to push your break even lower and mitigate losses if it drops below that point in exchange for capping your top side, which in this case would be around $305. Of course it sucks when you get whipsawed and the stock reverses course to fly past your call, but there are still defensive strategies you can go into like just rolling out in time or going inverted and rolling the put up.

Not sure. At some point the squeeze will be incredible.. it just depends when they start the 1b buyback. Wont be a ton of shares left on the float and the shorts will have to cover to the moon.

Yeah . . . seems too early right now. Things are almost certainly going to get worse again before they get better and the vaccine actually (maybe) come out. Still kicking myself for not diving into some CCL when it tanked in the spring. But I have to think it will go down again.

I've got some AAL at about $10.90 avg that I assume will come back pretty hard at some point.
