in on new thread. Flipped a couple SPY ad WKHS calls this morning that I got yesterday for juicy gains. Still got one SPY 10/19 350C left, idk if a friday power hour is in the cards though. Ive bought a few AMD calls the past few days and grabbed another one just now, their sales have been insane, Im hoping for a good green day with their new GPUs being released the 28th
RKT has been frustrating for sure but long term I still believe they'll hit their goals of having 1/4 of their marketLast edited by hardestgainer; 10-16-2020 at 11:02 AM.

I'm bag holding, but grinding away with CC's, typically 30 DTE and getting good premiums still. I'm not tripping, but it is frustrating. I believe we will see either a massive run up to earnings, or flat and then explosion after earnings. This isn't staying range bound for long. The only thing that could fukk us over is the election...

Election shouldn’t have too much of an affect unless Biden wins and decides to raise fed rates which I doubt considering him and Obama used low rates to prop up the market post 2008.
All I can say is the tutes are loading the boat heavy; nearly 30% institutional ownership now which is up 10% in a week or so I believe.

I just have so much capital tied up in it lol. oh well.
true. Also, even if we have a full blue sweep, it's not like January 2021 they'll immediately enact commie laws, it will take some time.
And damn that's a crazy figure. I'm long, and am enjoying these premiums for now."It won't get better, just different."

of course. but, you can make money real quick or NOT lol. i'm already in at 1.95. but, if i were trying to get in right now...
i'd put a buy order in at 2.20-2.25. if it fills it fills. watch it like a hawk and stick a tight stop in. hopefully it will run a bit.
edit: **** it im out. stopped at 2.63 for just under $700. will be pissed if it jumps to 3.00Last edited by thatsnarf; 10-16-2020 at 11:42 AM.

Hmmm.... its crazy I've never felt like people are more and more bipolar about the markets. Seems like young adults such as myself are 100% market only goes up and its gotta keep going up. I'm reading and seeing a lot of pundit/fund managers saying that there is waaaaay too much ETF investing/young idiots pushing values up. Not sure what they expect though when there aren't very many good options to store $$$. One specific example was Microsoft valuation trading at 40 P/E.

Weird week for me. Was up about 3k beginning of the week, then all my gains erased by the end of the week besides AAPL and MSFT holding on okay. APHA had the most insane swing.
I was averaging into it so luckily only put a quarter of planned position in. Residential real estate still going up and breaking records in some places, RKT is spamming their commercials too. Makes me feel warm and fuzzy.Journal: https://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=139898123&page=227

Everyone with loans gonna refi and they are silly if they don't. The only thing that really sucks about refi is to get max benefit you gotta be planning on being in the home long term. I was gonna swap back to a 30 year from a 15 now that 30 year rates are below 3%, but it won't even be useful if I move in 3-5 years...So I think I'm going to stick it out and plan on having 50%+ equity in my home when I move.
Are people still averaging into RKT? Trying to decide how big of a position to start. They should have solid market growth for the next 2-3 years at least...If rates go negative they gonna go to the fkn moon.Fitness connoisseur

My main holding has been down since I bought in, started playing around with options this week to try and make up some of the red while using a little bit of money that wasn't going to kill me if I lost. Sold 2 for a gain and 1 for a loss and am holding one now for a net gain of 450 bucks on an 1100 dollar play, not a terrible first week in the options game.

can confirm. I've been looking for another rental in various markets that I have strong knowledge of, but prices have gone up easily 10% from when I was looking this time last year. Maybe even 15%. Just means I need to keep moving money with stocks until things make more sense...

I have to say this because I touted this stock for so long in this thread.
CTYX.
Touted it since the spring here.
Major news today and went up huge to .053 from when I talked about it here at .008.
Cleared close to $300 K in profits the past 2 weeks on it.
Now to all of you who doubted me?

Uhhh in one of them yeah. But the others they were literally right on the money. So I expected better premium. And others I had even less leverage and I still had a bad profit/loss ratio. When nikola was 24 i opened a 22/21 spread and my credit was 33$. Meaning bad leverage and bad premiums.
So its pretty crap especially when you compare to put credit spreads you usually get a nice 1/1 ratio when youre dealing with otm strikes.I used to have an AVI of my traps and neck. I changed it a while back and tried editing my user title but this website is glitched and it will not let me change it anymore.
