AMD will get shaken out both sides after earnings. Just what Intel is doing now.
I am not going to hold through earnings. Gonna sell next week. See if this hype before earnings continues.
2/19 $100C already up 250 percent.

GHIv is now UWMC and rebounding nicely. closed my CSP's but have 100 shares with a covered call in my IRA. Will just leave for now.
PLTR looking thick, solid, tight. I opened 26 $27csp for 1/22 in my IRA as well.
Now this is where I am really really struggling to figure out what to do. TSLA. TSLA has earnings on 1/27. My 3 legged play expires 1/29. I need to finish Friday between $800 and $900 for maximum gains. I could close out the whole thing today at +$9k, but that would leave a potential $12k on the table. I feel like I should ride it until at least Wednesday, but I wouldn't be surprised to see a solid pump running up to then, which hurts one of my legs. Fuark... Fukk it, gonna let it ride..."It won't get better, just different."

If you brahs want easy exposure to SPACs that are mostly pre-merger you should look into SPCX etf. Obviously you get better growth with direct holdings of the SPACs that are popping off but the ETF has been making steady gains for the month I've been in it.
Also, a feelsbad moment. I put an order for a million shares of PLYZ at 0.0003 on friday last week. It had been fluctuating between 0.0003 and 0.0004 so i felt confident my order would fill. It didn't and I check the price today to see that it's trading 21x what it was on Friday. Other than that, it's been a great week with no red days so can't complain too much.

I sell mainly weeklies so my target is 10% OTM. Thats a good size gain to receive if my strike is hit, plus the premium I receive. With TSLA Ive increased it to 12% OTM if RSI is 60 or greater and DELTA is 30. If its a stock I am looking to unload then 5% OTM and not worry about delta.
The other factor is 1% premium per week. That equates to roughly 50% gain per year not including stock price appreciation.
I also write down my rules for each stock and stick with it. It helps to keep emotions out of the way since for me, that can be one of the biggest contributions to a losing trade.

I bought into GHIV yesterday and they had a ticker change this morning to UWMC. Typically with ticker changes do you see a large shift in price (whether up or down)? If so, is it instant or does it take some time, because I think buy orders aren’t going through today.
Sold just now because I dont want to risk it dropping to < $10. Will buy back in if I see it break higher prices

I'm not so much stressing about this one, more anxious/excited. I have a pretty solid window for maximum profit, but also a nice buffer for breakeven points. Theta decay is ramping up, and the only thing that will really get in the way is if IV ramps up right before earnings. I feel like I have to at the very least wait until Tuesday before deciding on anything. Here is a link to my play

There are a few reasons. The short answer is you have more potential in a single trade on a short expiration, but in the long run you do better more consistently with a little more time. The closer you get to expiration the more gamma risk you have and the more volatile the position becomes.
Oddly enough, Tasty Trade just did a segment on this yesterday if you're interested in seeing what their research showed.

This - at least according to the guys I choose to follow, the ideal setup is usually right around the 45 day mark at the 30 deltas, managing at 50% profit or 21 DTE.
My man.
30 delta CC is usually the best long term performer. But if you need to adjust based on a $ you may be more comfortable with you can.Misc Firearms Crew

On CTYX
https://www.yahoo.com/lifestyle/conn...150000602.html
Boca Raton, FL, Nov. 23, 2020 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Connectyx Technologies Holdings Group, Inc. (OTC: CTYX) (“Connectyx” or the “Company”), a development-stage biomedical company focusing on novel treatments for rare diseases today announced it is changing its name to Curative Biotechnology, Inc and has applied for the name change and a trading symbol (CURB) with the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority, Inc. (FINRA). The new corporate name better reflects the commitment to finding therapeutics for patients with rare diseases who have unmet medical needs and the expertise in driving the innovations needed to shape the future of rare drug development. The name and symbol changes are expected to take effect in the first quarter of 2021 upon completion of the FINRA process. The Company expects to refer to itself as Curative Bio.
The Company recently secured bridge financing that included management participation. The non-dilutive bridge loan involved warrants at a premium to the market closing price of CTYX stock on November 18th. These announcements follow the news of the in licensing of Curative Bio’s first two pipeline development assets: a patented novel monoclonal antibody (mAB) drug conjugate platform from the National Cancer Institute at the National Institutes of Health to treat Glioblastoma (brain cancer) and IMT504, a novel, patented immunotherapy, which could become the first drug ever approved to treat late stage rabies.
The Company also announced that it has added Michael K. Fish to their Board of Directors. Mr. Fish received a B.A. in accounting from Florida Atlantic University and is currently licensed as a CPA by the State of Florida. Mr. Fish founded a Certified Public Accounting firm in South Florida and possesses expertise in all areas of accounting, finance, and taxes for business including experience in the medical, wholesale, and professional services sectors. Mr. Fish has agreed to serve as the Chairman of the Audit Committee of the Board.
Paul Michaels, Chairman and President of CTYX said, “We are pleased to announce this key addition to our Board of Directors. who will help guide our transition to a fully reporting company, and the changing of our Company name to reflect our mission. Our bridge financing will allow us to begin the initial steps in the development of our pipeline. All of these are important milestones in the growth of our Company. We expect to be announcing more important changes and additions in the coming weeks to further strengthen our management team and to expand our product portfolio.”
Connectyx is a development-stage biomedical company focusing on novel treatments for rare diseases. The Company is focused on therapies with potentially accelerated development paths as a result of the disease, the nature of the therapeutic itself, or the stage of clinical development. At Connectyx, we envision a world where all patients have a therapeutic option.
