The real deal. Keenan Allen exits early, no run game at all, hit every time he dropped back and still kept his team in it and should’ve beat Brees in NO if it wasn’t for his kicker missing a 50 yarder in a dome.
If the Chargers do what they should by firing Lynn, getting him an o-line, and a couple more receivers he will be top 5 in the league. Can’t teach that arm talent.
Go ducks!

I like Herbert, he won me big money in the PAC-12 championship game and the Rose Bowl, but you’re being way too homer here. He was gifted one TD on a terrible Brees INT in the second quarter and had a chance to respond to Brees’ field goal drive in OT and came up short. Blaming the kicker lmao I was like lmao
Also this, consistently covering the spread with an overmatched squad (+7.5 to Chiefs, Bucs, and Saints) is the hallmark of great coaching. All it takes is Mookie Betts, Steph Curry, and Joe Burrow all sitting in the same car in order for one drunk driver to make the world a significantly better place.

Badgley left four points on the board tonight. 50 yarder in a dome for an NFL kicker is high percentage.
He’s a future star, that’s not being a homer, it’s true.
Covering the spread lol that’s not what keeps your job as a head coach. Multiple double digit leads blown by being too conservative.Last edited by Droopdx; 10-12-2020 at 10:01 PM.

How many QB’s in the league can make this throw?

See this is just cope, since he had a chance to respond in OT and couldn’t get it done. Two awful throws on second and third down on the final series. Throwing behind the marker on fourth down, not even giving Mike Williams a chance to convert.
One way to look at it is he choked a 17 point lead away. Brees was 1-48 in 17 point deficits before tonight. All it takes is Mookie Betts, Steph Curry, and Joe Burrow all sitting in the same car in order for one drunk driver to make the world a significantly better place.

If you can get your hands on the ball you should catch it, Henry and Hill on first and second down. Done arguing with you insufferable *******s who just sit here and refresh the sports page all night. Going to blame that 4th down route on Herbert, but not Williams for running it a yard short? lol cope.
No Herbert slander in this thread, just sit back and witness the next nfl star.... oh and

He looked incredibly raw after college and I thought he would bust but damn he's been proving me wrong.
Chargers are incredibly banged up (12 starters out yesterday I'm pretty sure) and OL is incredibly suspect. He's been amazing all things considered and if there was a redraft I really think theres an argument he goes #1.
Chargers don't need more WRs though and firing a coach (even after repeated chit 2nd half performances) when half the team is injured and you have a rookie QB isn't a good look. That's not how you get quality candidates to interview for the next position."If in my say 80 years on earth I do more help than damage, then I feel complete."

hes had a tough schedule, and has bsically went to either overtime or to final drives with top teams in the league.
he passes the look test. makes throws lots of qbs cant make. seems to mentally thrive on the pressure too.
i think he has a bad record this year, but by next year really starts winning games (like josh allen).

He had an incompetent offensive coordinator and 3 different head coaches in college, had some dud games though for sure. His receivers in college didn’t get separation. Allen is a great receiver, but after that it’s the often inured Mike Williams and a bunch of guys from the practice squad. A running game helps a lot. We’ll see what direction they go with Lynn.
Chiefs OC is getting a head coaching job, but there’s going to be 3+ openings"Stop sitting back saying yeah man, I wanna be this, I wanna be that, grab your phucking nuts and be it" -Greg Plitt
