There's no way you can possibly say he missed weight
1) They get weighted backstage, and that's the "official weight," if what I'm hearing is true
https://old.reddit.com/r/MMA/comment...he_scale_in_a/
2) Even if this measurement wasn't accurate he would be within the LW limit
This is very ****ty and poor officiating though. I haven't kept track of it but people are saying that he's been doing this all the time to everbody. Highly unlikely he truly missed weight though.

This was the official weigh in, as opposed to the ceremonial weigh in which hasnt happened during covid.
He likely missed championship weight 155.0 or under. 156 isn't good enough for a belt. 155.01 is not good enough for a belt.
Fact is he used the officials to prevent the pin from going haywire, AND the guy on scale duty slid the dial before it had settled. It was going to settle above 155.0 in my opinion.
Ultimately, Gaethje was robbed of 30% of Khabib's purse and a fair competition. Unsure if purse included PPV points, but in my opinion it is clear that a conspiracy was in place and Gaethje suffered a huge financial loss.

Dolce's video of the weigh in is upsetting. Khabib is going to have an asterisk by his name now.

Justin's grappling looked weak compared to Conor and Dustin and Conor has better footwork on the feet to control distance.
Not surprised he got mauled once on the ground way easier than those guys. Conor is a more fluid athlete and Dustin has used his grappling skills in many fights. Not sure Justin has really even used grappling in his fights at all??
I was screaming for Tony to try to get the fight to the mat too vs Justin but that never happened.
Some decent leg kicks by Justin though. I'm glad he didn't abandon those in fear of Khabib closing the distance when he threw them.
