They are legit. I refused to get one. Thought they looked retarded. Finally got one just for fun and it shoots so good.
Really, they are all pretty similar and it’ll come down to small preferences between whatever but I’m on board with the sigs.
M&Ps are awesome too though. Only think I don’t like is the grip texture for carry and the hinged triggers and how it’s a pain in the ass to change them.

It's not as clear cut as it used to be.
Most of those years, there did not exist a legit competitor to the G19. Until recently, not one single other gun had the G19's combination of barrel length, sight radius, capacity, and exterior dimensions. Everybody else either held fewer, had a shorter barrel, or was physically larger and harder to conceal. And that's to make no mention of the super low Glock bore axis.
But not anymore. S&W has their own G19 now. That's what the M2.0 Compact 9mm 4" is. It's a better G19. Because it's a carbon copy of the G19 in overall dimensions, same 4" barrel, same 15+1 capacity, same super low bore axis, but with a better grip texture and ability to disassemble without dry firing.
The S&W G19 (lol) does everything the Glock does, and more, with its superior grip texture and ease of installing the best striker trigger in the game courtesy of Apex
The military openly decided not to test for the best pistol because Sig basically bribed them into cutting trials short and just taking the Sig with an offer they couldn't refuse

idk I can't shoot glock well, trigger + ergonomics just don't do it for me. Best striker fired pistola I've ever shot is the VP9 so that's what I own.
Best pistol in general though has gotta be the FNX .45 for me, reliable even with a can on it and super accurate/easy to shoot, soft recoil
I'm getting a staccato c2 2011 shortly though, that might kick the fnx out of the top spot.**MFC**

When it comes to weapon mounted lights, do you guys look for pressure pads that have an "always on" function, or only pressure function?

I don't see a clear path. It's hard to understand what is happening if you don't have an over view of the entire process. There should be some sort of truth data in the software for auditing that recounts should align with, but if they managed to adjust ballots into an acceptable range of error with the data from the machines then we're stuck speculating as to why software would switch votes erroneously. We need an analysis of the voting software and testing to see what conditions cause what we saw. Until Trump has a team that can prove either: a) Software swayed the election or b) illegal ballots did or c) combination of both then we're out of luck.
I'm not saying there's not evidence, but Trump isn't presenting it. This leads me to believe either most of it is not credible or his team ( or legal system) is incompetent in investigating this matter. Honestly I'd believe its the latter considering tech issues are hard for lawyers to resolve in the court room. It will be one side's experts arguing against the other side's experts, which as you can see, is enough to muddy the waters. Our entire country has pockets of activist experts willing to pull for their side, and academia/law is primarily left leaning. In that case, I can see why Giuliani would rather attack the process than the tools. Too bad the tools are just as much a part of the process.
They will need to setup a demo voting center and show that the machines can change votes, or show that the votes can be changed after collection. After that, they will have to prove why the ballot totals match the audit, since I'm pretty sure the dems would have switched ballots as well. It has to be a two pronged attack. IMO that's why its so important to prove that accounting and attribution of ballots was lost at some point in the process to avoid dealing with an audit matching the machines. We need to show that we can't rely on existing ballots as truth data in an audit, and that the machines are susceptible to manipulation. Only issue is, if we do that then the election has to be reran.Last edited by rectifryer; 11-18-2020 at 08:08 AM.

Several
We quit because one or another person from Georgia always won
And because very, very few in this thread
1. Actually shoot
2. Shoot somewhere without super restrictive rules
3. Own or are willing to spend money on shooting gear such as a shot timer
4. Know they can't shoot and are scared to take and post video proving they did what they claim
Also we used to have a strong contingent that was all in on the AK and thought it was better than an AR but wouldn't enter any competitions against AR's because it wasn't fair because the AR is too good and would always win
Only winner I can think of that wasn't in Georgia lol
I think the one you won was the last one we had?
fishn has been working on his own pistol challenge to back up his trash talking for about 2 years now. Surely he'll succeed in shooting a pistol fast one of these daysLast edited by Farley1324; 11-18-2020 at 09:04 AM.

I'm sure this has be discussed a million times but the search function is pretty much non-existent
Looking to spend around $500 on a red dot and I came down to the Aimpoint Patrol or the Trijicon MRO. Which one would you choose? Didn't really look into Eotech but do they make an optic around that price?

Either one.
I own both.
If I could clone a duplicate of one of them by snapping my fingers, it would probably be the MRO due to size.
My inclination is to think the PRO is more robust and tough, but, that may or may not be the case and both are considered proven
I like that the MRO has numbers for its brightness setting and has an off position in between partway up so you don't have to click all the way from the beginning + you get an easy visual reference for which setting it's on. As I don't leave my MRO equipped firearm loaded and ready for immediate use, I notice this difference, as I do turn it off to put it 'away'
