I'm lookin' for some new/old tunes which have not yet been discovered by yours truly. Any form of rock as it were is appreciated, whether it is from the 60's or today. Looking for groovy chords more than thrash. In the vein of Stone Roses 'I wanna be adored' to Sonic Youth's 'Dirty Boots' to Alice in Chains 'Would'. Thank you.

You said in the OP you want groovy not thrashy. Their album "Age of Winters" is much more thrashy but they also do the doomy stoner Sabbath stuff so, so good. Some people want them to go back to the thrash from that first album, but I think all their music is good. "Warp Riders" is an outer space concept album that seems like it would pair really well with substances I don't personally partake in.
Smooth Seas don't make Strong Sailors. Keep your head up.

Was a Blind Melon fan in the 90s and found out in the last 10 years or so they finally found a new lead singer and put out a new album. While I like what their doing, Travis Warren's stuff from before is interesting, though I think he only had one solo album officially released. There's a lot of stuff from his Rain Fur Rent days on Youtube, and he used to have a lot of stuff available on his website, but it looks like it's gone.
I'm #12 in Y2J's "club"...and I'm scared.
This week on The Buff and the Beautiful: Colleen comes up with a new scheme to win over Carlos. But first she has to gain the trust of her captor.
