You commies talk about living vs dying.
When people have to pay an extra 8% in taxes to fund this, they're working a month without getting paid for it. They become slaves. That is time in their finite life that they could spend however they wanted. You're taking that from them. You're taking a part of their life.
Pretty disgusting imo. Some people are disabled and that draws sympathy. But 95% of poor people are poor because of life choices. Almost all of their problems would be solved by not having kids that they can't afford.
US healthcare is terrible due to collusion between insurance and providers. We should focus on eliminating that garbage to make it more affordable.

I think when people try to compare the US to Canada and Australia they are forgetting that they have about the same land mass but 1/10th the population. Even smaller countries like Norway, their population is less than most US states although their territory is quite large for the population. Not to mention a lot of resources, Norway and Canada. 25mil to 325mil.... and I'm not even going to bring up the demographics because saying that a country being 90%+ white is supposed to be a disadvantage. Not to even mention there is a lot more going on here in the US.
You have only so many resources and the more people the more that has to supply. It's why people in China and India will never be able to live the lifestyle the average American gets to live. So when I hear that Canadians have a better standard of living, quality of life, all I think is "well no chit" but that doesn't mean all Canadians. In fact, I WONDER WHY THEY AREN'T LIVING BETTER. In fact, I think that the typical hard working, career motivated person has it better in the US than anywhere else.

Good point, you're right. Less people so you need less too. Some of that is Canada's government's fault as they could tax the resources instead of the people, and most of all, not allow forigners to come into the country and compete against Canadians. A Chinese citizen can buy your house without even leaving the country almost as easily as you could. They can buy property in the US but there are so many loops and red tape that it makes it unprofitable. Here in GA, if you have homestead exemption, your property taxes are much less. I think even if you rent it out but live in the state, it isn't bad, but if you are not a GA resident and try to invest in property or rent property out here the taxes will eat you alive. Not sure of the details but guy I worked with moved out of state and rented his house out, and then put it up for sale because he said his property taxes went up so much because he was no longer a GA resident.
