The new season of The Boys sucked

they focused too much on build-up and character development,

********** should've been defeated sooner considering how things went, or in another season, would've liked to see more build-up for her, too soon to be climactic,

head popper should've been final boss of last 3-4 episodes.

Maybe it's me but I'm salty this show doesn't take more risks with killing off people. I'm guessing it's following the comics or something? I always like it when the bad guys when at the end of the day. Makes no sense to me how Butcher, MM,French guy and his crew are still alive and getting away with the chit that they do. It's not a bad show but I'm probably done watching it after this point

Yeah, them going out in the open really bothered me.

When they didn't use the ****ing EMP and they left it in the car, like phucktards, I screamed at my screen, because it would've been cool to see them do something on their own.

They didn't do enough to establish ********** as an end boss, and then they made her last fight look like a joke, and they also made
The Boys look like a joke as well, with the incompetence they showed.

But yeah, I agree about killing people off, there were too many close calls, especially with someone like Homelander flying around.

The "world" in the boys moved a bit slowly, especially after they were outed as terrorists.

These dudes are supposed to be CIA or Special Ops, there needs to be more shine given for them.

I was also thrown off when Homelander ACTUALLY fell for the blackmail, I wanted them to show him grow past his need for approval,
otherwise what was the point of *tormfront being inside his head?

As for Ryan, the kid, I think he should've killed Maeve as she attacks Homelander, and that ********** shouldn't have died yet, she should've been incapacitated by the Boys; in fact **********'s life should've been used as a bargaining chip somehow.

When those dudes walked out of that car unscathed after it flew fifty feet, I couldn't believe it.

I liked a lot of the episodes this season, but some of the dialog on Butcher and Hughie's personalities was too hamfisted,
and nearly cringe inducing. the finale was mediocre to me.

Maeve also took me out of the episode in the finale, I don't know if was the performance of the actress, or lack of setup,
but the scene in her apartment just didn't sell it to me.

Homelander and Ryan shouldn't have been wrapped up so soon, such a waste.

Not for the government, she strikes me as an "at all costs" manipulative psychopath that wants to make it to the top.
Goddamn it though, I wanted the leader of the Collective to be the head-popper, I like his personality.

I wanted it to be The Collective vs The Seven vs The Boys vs Grove Supremacists with different supe squads.

As much as the Boys have gotten a "happy ending", I sort of wanted it to be more earned than this.

It took until the finale for me to be firmly in the "its bad" camp. Seeing the sheer lack of payoff, Its also bizarre they felt the need to essentially reset the 7.

I was a massive fan of season 1, hell I've got a signed picture of Homelander over my dining room table but even though I'll still tune in since individual actors and scenes can be enjoyable but the overarching story has very much lost the plot.

season totally just seems like a set up for up coming seasons, kind of a bad move on their part. I'm still going to watch next season before finally giving up. I hope they take the criticism and bring back the feel of the first season.

Homelander's lasers don't hurt her, but his 10 year old half-supe son can cut her in half, makes no sense. Also, bullets don't hurt her, but a woman is able to stab her eye out. How did Maeve even get there? She can't fly.

As soon as the show started going sjw a couple episodes ago, I knew it would be trash from there on out.

I said exactly this in the Boys official misc thread and fanboys were coming at me hard with excuses. The point is that even if the kid has a greater potential than Homelander, he's still a fuking kid and this is Storm....who just brushed off a beating from Kimiko, Starlight and Maeve. With her super strength that dagger to the eye should not have worked. It wouldn't have worked in translucent. Also, with her super speed she should have been able to dodge the stab.

The kid having a laser 50 times stronger than Homelander's was just odd. People say Homelander can modulate his laser intensity which is true. But when he was using it on Storm, especially that first blast, he was clearly intending to fuk her up. And she just took it and Lol'd.
