Will I be dependent on supplements overtime and lose gains if I stop?

So, I was starting to get into bodybuilding and I bought some supplements: Caseine, whey protein, creatine, 1 bottle of multivitamins, and some fish oil. It's been a few days and the results have been great. I feel better than I've ever been in my life now that I'm on a good diet + the supplements. I told my friends about the supplements and they got to cracking on my ass. They were all putting in their 2 cents about how all this stuff is bad for me and compares it to steroids. They say if I stop taking them, I would lose all of my gains. Also that I would also have heart problems later on and such. I felt like a damn crackhead man. Obviously, none of this stuff appeared when I googled it, and it seems like there's noting but benefits when it comes to these supplements.

I would highly appreciate if I could get some input on this.

    No

The ones that actually work are just extracts from food. So it sounds like your friends have no clue what they are talking about.

If you want unbiased and science based analysis of what supplement ingredients do, look at examine.com

Your friends sound like the type of people who say wearing a belt to squat is cheating.

There's zero reason why those things would make you dependent to the point where you'd lose gains, and you certainly won't get heart problems taking them.

    1) Your friends are idiots.
    2) Nothing you're taking is going to make you see any "results," especially in a few days

Protein powder is just powdered food. That's like saying, "I've been eating chicken and the results are OUTSTANDING!"
Creatine is fine, but it takes time for saturation to be reached to get any benefit. And then, the benefits are not huge. Maybe helping you get a rep or two more than you might not have without creatine.
Multi and fish oil, nothing that's going to drive results.
"I'm pretty sure your wrong, but care to elaborate..."

As stated above, your friends don't know d!ck
Not saying they are bad friends but they have absolutelu zero clue about supps.

I'll just echo that the supps you have are all the most common, most researched, most basic supps you can buy; and all very helpful imo.

NO, you will not get dependent on any one of those; NO, you will not lose any gains you make while on them; and NO, you will not have heart problems because of them. In fact, fish oil (any healthy fats) can be beneficial to the heart.

Good for you OP for wanting to better yourself. Keep training and doing those supps if it makes you feel better or feel better about yourself.

Your friends are muppets. You will only lose gains if you stop training and start eating like ****.
